    A well-resourced primary school in Coventry is recruiting an experienced SEN Teacher to start in January 2026. The successful SEN Teacher will lead bespoke intervention programmes, assess and review provision for pupils with SEND, and work closely with the SENCo to ensure provision maps and interventions have measurable impact.     • SEN Teacher to develop individual learning plans, coach support staff and monitor progressThe SEN Teacher will design accessible curriculum sequences, deliver high-quality small-group teaching, and coach teaching assistants so that the wider team can implement strategies consistently. Working in Coventry, the SEN Teacher will liaise with external therapists and parents to deliver joined-up support and to monitor progress against targets. We welcome SEN Teacher applicants who are organised, resilient and skilled at translating assessment into powerful classroom practice.Responsibilities Plan and deliver targeted small-group sessions and personalised programmes that accelerate progress. Create, review and update individual learning plans and ensure accurate record-keeping of outcomes. Train, guide and quality-assure support staff to deliver intervention with fidelity. Liaise with parents, therapists and external agencies to coordinate multi-agency support in Coventry. Monitor the impact of interventions and adapt provision based on robust assessment data. Person specification Qualified teacher with demonstrable experience supporting pupils with SEND and proven SEN Teacher outcomes. Strong assessment literacy, excellent behaviour strategies and the ability to adapt curriculum materials. Confident communicator able to collaborate across the Coventry school community and with families. Available to start January 2026, with attendance at induction and handover prior to January 2026.
