Tutoring jobs in London UK: English.

Age range of target audience: Not Specified (1-100).
I hope you’re well.
I’d love to book a trial session for my mum.
As a teacher myself, it’s important to me that she has a clear, structured timeline of goals to work towards.
My hope is for her to become fluent and confident in spoken English, without stumbling, confusion, or anxiety.
She is 52 and has lived in London for around 25 years.
She can speak some English, but she lacks confidence, becomes anxious when speaking, and is very shy, which has held her back.
She does have r special educational needs.
I truly believe that with the right, patient, and goal-driven teacher, she can make real progress.
What she needs most is someone who can gently build her confidence, work at her pace, and create a safe, trusting environment for learning.
I’m also hoping to find a teacher who she can feel comfortable with — almost like a friendly, supportive presence — as she can be quite timid even taking this step.
I feel that your experience, calm approach, and background would be a really good fit for her, which is why I wanted to reach out.
We’d love to arrange a trial lesson if possible.
Please let me know your availability and how you usually structure lessons for anxious or shy learners with clear, goal-oriented progress.
Thank you so much for your time — I really appreciate it.
