You’ll volunteer with our Fundraising teams to raise awareness in your local community and assist our supporters to raise funds.     About The Role If you are a confident singer and would like to use this skill to make a difference to people living with dementia, then we’d love to hear from you Singing for the Brain is a structured group session, designed around the principles of music therapy and singing for people with dementia, who may attend alone or with a carer. These uplifting sessions offer the people attending an enjoyable activity, as well as the chance to socialise with other people affected by dementia.  As a Singing for the Brain Facilitator Volunteer, you’ll utilise your musical knowledge and singing skills to support the facilitation and delivery of a programme of songs, musical activities, and physical movements, ensuring sessions are flexible and responsive to the needs and interests of the people attending. You will be instrumental in creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere where people feel supported and safe to engage with the activities, either online or in person. This role is community based in Kidderminster. We are looking for a facilitator to be available on Tuesday afternoons between 12:30-14:30 during term time (30 sessions a year).

You will be responsible for the targeted acquisition of new Will writing partners in your region, whilst delivering a seamless onboarding and retention journey for the professional audience, through outstanding relationship management. About you Joining us, you will have good customer service skills with experience in a sales, marketing or business to business partnerships. You’ll also be able to network, particularly in a business partnership setting, and build rapport within a one-to-one relationship with a customer or business, discussing technical issues and combining persuasiveness with trust building. Crucially, you’ll have a track record of exceeding targets and using your initiative to prioritise your work effectively. As Workforce Data Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to make a long-term impact in one of the most dynamic and fast-growing charities in the sector. Your role will be critical in developing an approach to workforce planning that will enable us to deliver our ambitious strategy Help and Hope. You will work closely with the People and Business leadership teams, using insight to shape strategies, optimise workforce planning, and ensure our People practices are aligned with both internal goals and external market dynamics. Crucially, you’ll be a good communicator with experience working with senior stakeholders to deliver change and influence decision making.     The Memory Café can get very busy and hectic so someone who can work on their own initiative and can multi task.
    You will need to be able to travel independently.
    Location is: Jinnah Day Care Centre, Alfred Street, Bury, BL9 7HE. 
    The Memory Café runs the first Tuesday of the month from 10.30-12.30 but we require volunteers to support the set up and tidy up after the session so volunteers hours would be ideally 10-1pm. Read Less
