warehouses inside of prisons. On a weekly basis, inmates have the opportunity to order basics goods, like shampoo and chocolate, that they pay for with their own funds. At DHL, we manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders.
We're now looking for a
Warehouse Team Leader who will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation. You'll need to be comfortable handling tough situations and speaking up when the rules aren't followed.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Leading and managing a group of up to 80 prisoners, ensuring compliance to all Standard Operating Procedures, (SOP's), Health and Safety, and HMP rules and regulations.
Ensuring operational KPI's are met and exceeded, reconcile stock levels against delivery and pick of each item.
Drive and support projects and initiatives for continuous improvement.
✅ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
You must have three recent years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance).
You must have right to work in the UK with no limits now or in the future such as British or Irish National, EU Settled Status or Indefinite Leave to Remain. We cannot offer sponsorship for this opportunity.

Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
Have a good understanding of supply chain and logistics - full training provided to ensure your success!
Good at communicating firmly, fairly and clearly.
Are able to demonstrate their people leadership skills.
Experience in a prison or secure environment is an advantage, but we value transferable skills from other work settings.
