Salary: £30,157 per annum Working hours:2 shifts covering between 06:00 and 22:00 Monday to Friday Main responsibilities:· Safely load and unload delivery vehicles.· Inspect incoming deliveries for damage and report any discrepancies.· Verify delivery documents and delivery notes against physical goods to ensure accurate quantities and correct parts are received.· Accurately receive stock into the Epicor system and allocate to appropriate storage locations.· Ensure all products are correctly labelled in accordance with company standards.· Store and rotate stock in a safe, organised, and efficient manner to support operational flow.· Report any stock losses or damages promptly to the warehouse manager.· Adhere to all operational procedures, company policies, and scheduled workflows to support efficient day-to-day operations.· Handle all materials and products with care to maintain quality and prevent damage.· Complete daily forklift truck safety checks and ensure equipment is operated safely and responsibly.· Assist with scheduled quarterly and annual stock counts including PPI.· Communicate effectively with internal teams and escalate issues or updates to the warehouse Manager as needed.· Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse practices and suggest process enhancements.· Promptly highlight any operational or safety concerns to management.· Ensure all stock movements and transactions are accurately recorded in the Epicor system.· Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your Manager. Additional Requirements:· Flexibility is essential, to meet business needs.· Shift cover is required to support operations running between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, aligned with production and transport schedules.· Willingness to adapt working hours to ensure adequate cover is provided across all operational periods.· Support and, where appropriate, assist in training colleagues on tasks within this role in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs), to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer across the team.· Computer literacy (intermediate)· FLT Licence (preferable) This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and level of work performed by job holders.
