    Role Profile

    Cast UK are supporting a growing family business in their recruitment for a Technical Compliance Officer. Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the products meet the highest standards of compliance with BRCGS, ISO and GMP, alongside bespoke customer requirements. The role is primarily based at Romford but will include sporadic travel to other sites as needed. You will typically work Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the Manufacturing and warehousing with technical issues, internal audits, and traceability exercises.
    • Maintain internal systems to meet BRCGS & ISO and customer compliance requirements.
    • Log and investigate non-conformances.
    • Support routine GMP, hygiene, and procedural audits.
    • Liaise with production and other teams on compliance issues.
    • Work cross-functionally to uphold and improve site standards.
    • Write and develop company systems & procedures in line with BRCGS, ISO, and customer requirements.
    • Serve as the technical key contact for the factory, addressing technical issues and queries.
    • Manage customer contacts, queries, and investigations.
    • Support internal/procedure audits and manage Sedex & ethical trading compliance requirements.
    • Assist in raw material data and specification management within procedure compliance.

    Key Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience working in a similar role, ideally within a Manufacturing business
    • Working knowledge of BRCGS, ISO and GMP standards
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to influence and engage with stakeholders
    • Strong time management skills with ability to prioritise effectively
    • Driving license with own transport would be highly advantageous

    This business plays a critical role in supporting healthcare providers across the UK by ensuring essential products are delivered efficiently, accurately, and safely.

    The Role

    As Warehouse Shift Manager, you will lead the night shift team, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining compliance, and driving performance. You'll be responsible for delivering KPIs, maintaining a safe working environment, and overseeing dispatch activity throughout the night.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage warehouse operations during the night shift (10pm-6am, Sun-Thurs)
    • Lead and develop a team of operatives, driving performance and engagement
    • Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatch of goods
    • Maintain high standards of H&S, cleanliness, and operational compliance
    • Support stock integrity, investigate variances, and collaborate with inventory teams
    • Deliver shift performance reports and support broader warehouse initiatives

    About You:

    You'll be an experienced warehouse team leader or supervisor, comfortable managing in a fast-moving, regulated environment. You thrive under pressure, lead by example, and can bring out the best in your team.

    You'll need:

    • Proven experience in a warehouse leadership or shift management role
    • Strong knowledge of warehousing operations, ideally in healthcare or regulated sectors
    • Effective communicator with solid organisational and planning skills
    • A hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
