    Job Summary

    The Global Strategy team is looking to hire a Director of International Data Strategy to supplement the data strategy team operating in the US. The team is focused on growing revenue via partnerships that support buy-side and sell-side activations in the areas of identity, audience and measurement. These partnerships directly contribute to increased revenue and importantly margin for FreeWheel. \n\nSpecifically, the Director of International Data Strategy will play a key role in facilitating the integration processes needed to scale partners to international markets and provide local assessment of revenue potential through constant contact with the demand teams in the region. \n\nThe Director will act as the eyes and ears of the strategy team in Europe and assist supporting APAC meetings minimizing time zone constraints. Core to the role will be identifying new partnership opportunities in the region to give Comcast Advertising a competitive edge vs the rising platforms: Google, Amazon, Netflix.

    Core Responsibilities

    Accountable for various financial, economic, competitive and other factors that strategically position products, services, and businesses within markets and industry sectors. 

    Build detailed financial models and structures to evaluate business opportunities.

    Evaluate and prioritize international partner requests and validate revenue potential

    Uncover and evaluate new partnership opportunities to improve Freewheel/Comcast Advertising capabilities and competitiveness

    Ensure strategic alignment of requests with Global Strategy

    Drive partner promotions with marketing & sales to increase adoption/usage of audience/measurement partnerships to unlock demand growth

    Liaise with broader strategy team on international requirements to feed Global Strategic approaches and expansion opportunities

    Provide strategic insight and maintain alignment with sales leadership regarding European data and addressability needs

    Identify key priorities where data partnerships can drive growth for Freewheel/Comcast Advertising in international markets

    Recommend responses and programs to competitive actions or potential partners’ inquiries, evaluating business unit and Company objectives with internal investment, partnership opportunities and/or concluding partnership deals. 

    Highlight strategic insights and implications (opportunities/threats) for Company in report summaries and in roundtable discussions with top management. 

    Partner with legal and with partners on company strategic plans, response, and agreements.

    Potentially serve as liaison to industry associations. 

    Manage, develop and motivate team members to ensure efficient operation of the function.

    Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. 

    Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work off hours for travel and completing urgent tasks, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

    Skills and Experience

    Strong track record of developing partnerships leading to revenue growth.

    Experience in a world-class technology and/or media organization, known for leading innovation and delivering results.

    Proven expertise in the use of data sets and technology to support TV/video advertising planning, targeting, measurement and attribution, integration of data sets to identify households, individuals and/or devices, as well as methods to ensure privacy/security of sensitive data.

    Direct experience with a variety of TV/video advertising business models across linear, digital, broadcast, on demand, and data enabled.

    Demonstrated ability to work with a dispersed team of leaders and subject matter experts, across corporate, business units and partners to inform plans and guide execution.

    Competencies for Success

    A thorough understanding of linear, digital and data-enabled TV advertising, and their underlying delivery technologies. Programmatic advertising knowledge a plus.

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at a variety of levels.

    Provide oversight and leadership to Senior Global Trial managers (SGTMs)  for project productivity, delivery and quality resulting in strong financial performance and customer satisfaction. Work with Clinical teams to focus on leveraging deep therapeutic expertise and IQVIA solutions to drive operational excellence and strategic leadership with our customers. Direct and manage an assigned team of clinical leads who lead or support studies or programs to make sure quality, time and budget deliverables are met to the Sponsor’s satisfaction and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and practices. Ensure Clinical leads are trained and individual development is aligned and in place to meet project and organizational needs.  Attract, develop and retain talent.

    Essential Functions
    • Ensure clinical delivery of assigned projects in compliance with regulatory requirements (International Conference on Harmonization (ICH)-Good Clinical Practice (GCP), protocol), customer requirements (contract), and internal requirements (policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), project plans). Ensure all Clinical Leads (CLs) obtain Fundamental Good Clinical Practices (GCP) accreditation during a two year cycle.
    • Actively engage with SGTMs to review project performance and deliverables. Address performance issues and/or escalations by working  to create action/recovery plans. Ensure compliance to the Clinical Leads (CL) metrics dashboard of all direct reports. Foster an environment where lessons learned are shared within the team.
    • Ensure compliance on the overall Risk Management process including risks that are escalating into issues. Work with SGTMs on identification of risks that can lead to processes improvement/standardization across the organization.
    • Ensure compliance to quality management processes that apply to all projects. Support quality initiatives and ensure quality metrics are met at all times.
    • Mentor SGTMs to manage clinical aspects of Project Finances,  Support to understand the scope of clinical delivery and create plans to deliver against this scope and to monitor and manage changes against baseline and identify additional service opportunities or out of scope work.

    • Coach SGTMs to identify Out of Scope items, discuss impact and proactively suggest remediation plans when considering risks/delays and to determine appropriate action. Discuss and promote proactive identification of milestone risks by SGTMs
    • Actively review project level clinical metrics with SGTMs to ensure compliance and accuracy of data. Support SGTMs during Project Review Meetings . Ensure compliance to all critical data fields within Project Management systems/ applicable trackers. Coach SGTMs on running and reviewing various project reports
    • Resourcing and Talent planning of the SGTM team. Manage the team at project level to successfully deliver the project through the establishment of high-quality operational plans and guidance as well as project related trainings.
    • Conduct progress reviews and evaluations in addition to create contingency plans to mitigate project, program-level and enterprise risks.
    • Mentor SGTMs for further development and ensure they follow an Individual development plan.

    Qualifications

    • Requires 10 years of clinical research experience including 6 years leadership experience, multi-regional and global focus or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
    • Requires broad management knowledge to lead cross-regional teams, and well as the ability to influence others outside of own job area regarding policies, procedures, and goals.
    • Knowledge of clinical trials - In depth knowledge and skill in applying, applicable clinical research regulatory requirements i.e. Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines. Strong understanding of the Clinical Research Industry and the relevant environments in which it operates.;
    • People Management - Proven ability to manage a team and work alongside others in a global environment to deliver results whilst meeting quality and timeline metrics.     Severe Accident Analysis is a pivotal part of the design and safety justification of each of our nuclear propulsion plants and is vital in ensuring that we meet regulatory requirements.

    The severe accident analysis team develops models of the reactor plant and containment and uses these to conduct technical analysis of the behaviour of the reactor plant in severe accident scenarios. The results of these simulations are used to:
    Derive design requirements for reactor containment structures and associated components under severe accident conditions.Assess radiological consequences in support of safety cases and meeting regulatory requirements such as REPPIR.Support our enterprise partners through bespoke severe accident assessments of our existing and future products.Undertake verification and validation activities of severe accident codes and models.

    This will include severe accident analysis across the entire reactor and plant lifecycle, from concept and design stages through to In-Service support and decommissioning. Responsibilities include:
    Being directly responsible for the delivery of highly specialised technical work packages in support of the submarine programme using cutting edge tools and methods, collaborating with other technical areas to deliver successful outcomes.Monitoring of progress on task activities and reporting against the baseline plan.Identifying and managing risks and opportunities within the scope of technical work packages.Working with the Group Leader to establish commitments, budget and targets for the delegated projects and to provide regular updates on progress in line with business requirements.

    Main Purpose of Role:

    Registered Managers are responsible for delivering childcare that is focussed on obtaining the best outcomes for each child and young person within the home.

    Consequently, they are expected to demonstrate practical leadership in childcare, as well as organise and support staff to provide the best possible care for each young person. This involves being personally available, as well as the supervision and mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, and facilitation of care focussed training, and accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within the home

    The ideal candidate would have an NVQ level 5 in Management and a minimum NVQ level 3 Caring for Children and Young People. Experience of managing staff, excellent written and verbal communication skills and leadership skills are essential qualities.

    Knowledge of the Children's Act 1989 and Care Standards Act 2000 relating to Children's Homes Regulations is required along with safeguarding procedures.

    While the home manager is employed for 40 per week, they are expected to arrange their own work rota which may involve evening, weekend and night shifts duties. The home manager is wholly responsible for ensuring an appropriate staff presence to meet the childcare needs of the children and young people in the home.
