    In this role you will need to hold an expert understanding of chemistry- a completed or in progress Masters/PhD is preferred but not required. Other related fields include, but are not limited to: Formulation Scientist, Development Chemist, Analytical Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Medicinal Chemist, Biochemist, Process Development Chemist.

    Your new role
    As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on design and build contracts, and your responsibilities will include:Providing commercial assurance of contractsProviding contractual advice and support to delivery teamsManagement and development of team membersAdvising and supporting the management and optimisation of budgets and spending on the portfolio of projectsAttending site meetingsSupporting the Commercial Manager with the resolution of claims as necessary.

    Your New Role
    You will play a key role within the business helping to achieve project milestones within a given timeframe and budget. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assembling equipment and parts according to specification.

    What we will ask of you:

    You must hold a valid full driving licence and be IT literate. You should have the capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces, as well as a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota (1in6). You must have good verbal and written communication and the ability to use a mobile device.

    RequirementsThe ideal candidate would have experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment.
