Sureserve Compliance Central We are a national company offering market leading heating & hot water solutions from a network of regional offices across the East of England and the Midlands, strategically positioned to ensure comprehensive coverage and uncompromised access to our clients We are on the lookout for a dynamic & motivated commercial plumber, with strong technical expertise, and solution oriented approach to join our team. Overview of Role This Commercial Plumber will visit client properties to perform a range of plumbing maintenance and repair tasks. They will ensure that all plumbing systems function efficiently and safely, completing all repairs in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : Installation & Repair Install, maintain, and repair pipes, joins, valves, drains, and fixtures in various commercial premises. Assemble and install plumbing products without interfering with existing infrastructure. Diagnose and assess plumbing issues. Collaboration : Coordinate with general contractors, surveyors, and other building professionals on job sites. Work closely with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems during renovations or new construction. Compliance and Safety : Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work Maintain accurate records of time spent on jobs and materials used. Prepare budgets and estimate costs for bidding on potential work. Emergency Response : Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, on the out of hours callout rota. Diagnose issues and make necessary repairs to prevent further damage. Preventive Maintenance : Perform regular maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent emergencies. Conduct inspections and identify potential problems early. Key Attributes & Requirements Qualified and experienced in plumbing with relevant certification. Self-motivated, flexible and able to work in a team environment. Ability to diagnose problems and propose cost-effective solutions. Good communication skills to effectively & professionally interact with our clients and team. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Adhere to the Out of Hours, weekends and evenings on call rota It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us. Overview of role: This role is responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, fault finding, and diagnosis of electrical systems, using a strong working knowledge of electrical principles and practices. Key Responsibilities: Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements Skills & Experience Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential) Valid UK driving licence (essential) Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants What we offer?
