    You will carry out fluid flow and heat transfer analysis to support robust design evaluation of the Naval Reactor Plant, inluding:

Managing and maintaining data integrity is vital to this role so attention to detail is an important quality.

    Prepare, develop, and maintain the 3D master CAD model, definition (MBD/technical drawing) and relevant documentation in accordance with company procedures, engineering drawing standards, design intent (fit, form, function), manufacturing & build capability, project costs, timescales, enable downstream automation and quality requirements.
    Work as part of a multi-discipline team to ensure new and revised component definitions are fit for purpose (meets design intent, manufacturable etc.)
    Create specialised bespoke CAD models for analysis purposes and the management, update and incorporation of Drawing Alteration Requests.
    Produce tolerance stack-ups to aid new product creation & validation and to support in-service investigation work.
    Support the delivery of DD&I Automation Strategy (including Model Based Definition and High Value Digital Design). Actively promote, encourage and support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement (of tools, processes, methods and guidance material).
