    Job Introduction For this excellent opportunity, a Class 1 (CE) HGV licence is required and you must have Portable Roadway experience.
    Ideal candidates will also be comfortable with regular nights away from home, sharing the cab with another operative.
    Although based from our Worksop depot, you will be working on sites throughout the UK, ranging from power transmission projects and major civil engineering works to sporting events and music festivals. Working alongside our Portable Roadway Operatives, you will deliver, install and recover our hire equipment from customer sites using the lorry loader cranes fitted to our fleet of 44t rigid & drawbar vehicles.
    This unique role will require spending time away from home, often for several nights per week, where sharing a sleeper cab is the norm. A digital tacho card and current driver CPC is essential and applications will not be considered without these.
    Key Responsibilities
    You will be able to plan your own workload to meet customer or company deadlines, whilst maintaining compliance with drivers hours and working time regulations and following the correct safe working methods.
    You will be required to ensure all transport related transactions are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with company policies and customer requirements.
    You must be hardworking, display a 'can do' attitude, and show a willingness to deliver a high level of customer service.

    The B2 Licensed Engineer is responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance and repair on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft.Type training will be provided for a suitable candidate.

    UK Military Flying Training System (Rotary Wing) B1.3 Licensed Engineer, Valley
    Reports to UK MFTS (RW) Maintenance Operations Manager, Shawbury

    The B1.3 Licensed Engineer is responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance and repair on Airbus H145 rotorcraft, at Valley.Type training will be provided for a suitable candidate.

    The main responsibilities of the post holder will be:
    Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.Accomplishment of maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor.Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant, mechanical and electrical systems. Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.Supervision of mechanical fitters and the certification of their work.Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component and composite technical work in workshops as required.Also required to assist in day to day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.

    The post holder would ideally have the following Knowledge and Skills:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, providing strategic financial direction, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and accounting standards, and driving financial growth and stability. This role will report directly to the Group CFO and work closely with the Managing Director and play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Leadership:
    Lead the Finance topics to ensure the company s financial health, stability, and growth.
    Develop and implement the company s financial strategy, aligned with business goals.
    Advise the CFO/Managing Director and the management team on financial planning, strategy, and business performance.
    Provide insight and recommendations to drive cost efficiencies and profitability.

    Financial Management:
    Preparation of accurate budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports in compliance with UK GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Practice) or IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
    Lead the annual budgeting process, monitoring and managing budgets across departments.
    Monitor key financial metrics, including profitability, liquidity, solvency, and return on investment.
    Ensure that all financial practices comply with regulatory standards, accounting principles, and company policies.

    Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    Provide comprehensive financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, auditors, and HMRC.
    Conduct financial analysis to identify business risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights.
    Track and report on the company s financial performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.

    Risk Management & Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations, VAT, financial laws, and accounting standards (UK GAAP or IFRS).
    Oversee the company s risk management process, identifying potential financial risks and developing strategies for mitigation.
    Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
    Ensure compliance with regulatory filings, including VAT returns, Corporation Tax filings, and financial reporting to Companies House.
    Lead the financial audit

    Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
    Oversee the management of the company s cash flow, working capital, and investment strategy.
    Ensure the company has adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and strategic objectives.
    Develop and implement effective treasury strategies to maximise returns on assets and minimise liabilities.

    Mergers, Acquisitions & Partnerships:
    Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
    Assess financial opportunities and risks related to mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.



    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA are highly desirable.

    Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior finance roles
    Proven track record of success in financial management, strategic planning, and business decision-making.
    Experience in working closely with senior leadership.
    Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
    Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance is a plus.

    Skills:
    Strong financial modelling, analysis, and reporting skills.
    Excellent knowledge of UK tax regulations, VAT, financial laws, and accounting standards (UK GAAP or IFRS).
    Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g. Excel, ERP systems).
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to think strategically, drive results, and influence decision-making at all levels.
    High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to solve complex financial problems.

    A vacancy for a Payload Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space located in Corsham.

    The main focus of this role is to ensure that the Airbus in-orbit Spacecraft Payload activities are conducted safely to maximise the useful life of the spacecraft. The role requires excellent analytical skills and problem solving capability and due to the nature of this role there may be some UK and European travel required.

    This is a small expert team who work closely across many project sub teams and with this role there is potential scope to be part of the new generational spacecraft project.

    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
    Day-to-day monitoring of the AIRBUS spacecraft payload subsystems.
    Provide, review and report on spacecraft payload trend analysis data.
    Provide technical support to on-station and prospective operations.
    Liaise with spacecraft design and operations teams to optimise operations.
    Monitor new spacecraft during Payload definition, Integration, Subsystem and System Level phases.
    Support, schedule, analyse and report on the results for spacecraft through life testing.
    Provide payload and RF Systems expertise support to other business areas within the company and parent companies on various bids and projects.
