    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our Integrated Mental Health team at HMP Preston, a category B Prison located in Lancashire, housing around 750 patients. The site is based just of off the A59 and is accessible via public transport. Within this role you will work collaboratively with the Integrated Mental Health and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service, as well as line managing an Assistant Psychologist and supporting them with the delivery of interventions.

    9am-5pm and 9am -12.45pm
    we are flexible as to which days you work across Monday-Friday

    Salary

    This position is 2.5 days per week, you'll receive an annual salary between £53,000 and £63,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

    What you'll be doing

    As a Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

    Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT)
    Undertake psychological assessments
    Support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
    Deliver psychological interventions to cases of complexity
    Deliver and oversee 1:1 and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
    Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
    Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate

    Responsibilities:
    Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments and reassessments for adults.
    Provide medication follow-ups and pharmacological interventions.
    Develop and deliver non-pharmacological treatments for adult ADHD.
    Contribute to service development and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
    Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure high-quality care delivery.

    Principal Duties:
    Assess and diagnose ADHD, considering co-morbidities and risk factors.
    Monitor treatment response and manage side effects.
    Prescribe and titrate medication within scope of practice.
    Offer post-diagnostic advice, psychoeducation, and support.
    Perform physical observations related to medication treatment.

    A day in the life of a Senior Clinical Lead will involve:

    Design, monitor, and implement high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic training to therapists and team members across Phoenix, ensuring a Neurodiversity Affirming and trauma-informed approach.
    Provide supervision, training, and development opportunities for junior therapists and assistants, fostering a supportive and effective team environment.
    Work with the Therapies Director to expand and enhance the SALT provision, contributing to recruitment, resource management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
    Ensuring compliance with professional standards, confidentiality, and safeguarding protocols, while promoting health and safety, maintaining accurate clinical records and driving service development initiatives.

    To be a successful Senior Clinical Lead, you'll need:
    A recognised post-graduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy along with HCPC Registration.
    Ideally, 5+ years of post-qualification experience as Speech and Language Therapist, with at least 1 years' experience in supervising or managing a team.
    The desire and confidence to run supervisions and offer training and support to other therapy professionals.
    Good IT skills - We'll train you on how to use our systems, but it would help if you had a working understanding of using Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
    A full driving licence. Whilst this role is based in a single location, travel to other sites will be required at times including travel to our Tiverton Hub for team meetings and training where required.

    Practice Plus Group are pleased to announce that they have recently over the healthcare contract at HMP Wymott, a Category C prison in Lancashire.

    We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our team. The prison houses around 1100 men with a variety of health needs.

    The role would be suitable for an experienced Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. The applicant must be familiar with trauma informed practice and trained in at least one trauma specific intervention. The applicant will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Team and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.

    This position is offering up to £63,300 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

    Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme

    Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate

    Band 6 Specialist Upper Gastrointestinal (UGI) cancer Dietitian (1.0WTE, substantive) at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work within a regional Oncology centre, and regional resection centre for Oesophago-Gastric cancer surgery.

    The role will provide specialist dietetic care to patients with a diagnosis of Upper GI cancer, including oesophageal, gastric and hepato-pancreatic and biliary (HPB) cancers. This will involve providing dietetic input across the patient's entire treatment pathway- from diagnosis, throughout oncological treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy, pre- and post-surgery and longer term follow up. Providing both an inpatient and outpatient dietetic service across the pathway helps us deliver quality care and continuity for our patients.

    We are looking for a skilled Dietitian, experienced within the NHS, to join our team providing nutritional care to patients receiving curative and palliative treatment for UGI cancers.

    We are looking for a Dietitian with well-developed team working, communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills. Experience of oncological and surgical treatments, and delivering complex nutritional support, including enteral tube feeding is beneficial.

    You will need to be an active and integral member of the Dietetic and multidisciplinary UGI cancer Team, in addition to being a highly skilled autonomous practitioner, working across our hospital sites to deliver care. You will need to demonstrate ability to work flexibly, outside of normal working hours on a weekly basis, if the service requires.

    We have a large, friendly and supportive Dietetic Department and UGI cancer team.

    Our dietetic department is based across our 2 hospital sites; Cheltenham General Hospital (CGH) & Gloucestershire Royal Hospital (GRH). This role will involve working across both sites to provide support to both the oncology and surgical centres.

    This post will be part of the oncology dietetic team, which includes Head and Neck, Upper GI, Enhanced Supportive Care (Palliative Care), Prehabilitation and general oncology Dietitians, and support from a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner.

    You will work closely with the wider UGI team from a range of specialities, including oncology and surgical consultants and speciality doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, psychologists, cancer support workers, ward staff and 5 dedicated Upper GI cancer nurse specialists.

    Gloucestershire is a great area to live, with many areas of outstanding natural beauty, as well as excellent transport networks to the rest of the country.

    The role is directly supported by a Band 7 Highly Specialist Upper GI cancer Dietitian. This will include close clinical supervision with a shared caseload, as well as a tailored set of competencies designed to support your development within the role.

    As an integral part of the Upper GI MDT team, the role will involve providing dietetic input to MDT clinics, seeing patients jointly with our oncology and surgery consultants and our team of cancer nurse specialists.     Essential requirements for a Children's Home Deputy Manager:

    A minimum of 2 years experience in a children's residential care home (within the last 5 years)
    At least 12 months in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
    Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
    Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and expectations, relevant legislation and Quality Standards
    Excellent communication and team leader skills.
    A full, UK driving licence issued in the UK
    Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
    Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations

    The Role

    As an integral part of a multi disciplinary team working alongside consultants, you will be required to carry out pre and post-operative consultations, assessing the suitability of patients for treatment. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

    Carry out examinations that are associated with refractive surgery, cataract, and medical retina procedures.
    Run acute and follow up clinics postsurgery for patients documenting findings in the electronic medical record systems.
    Provide health advice and support to patients attending the hospital.
    Provide first line clinical advice to patients and follow the appropriate means of referral to a medical practitioner if necessary.
    Ensure awareness of the uses, safety precautions and handling of equipment within the clinical competency framework.
    Ensure awareness of CQC policies and updates, attending all mandatory update courses

    What You'll Need

    Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist
    Extensive experience working as an optometrist in a refractive, high street or hospital environment
    Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
    Experience of working to conversion targets and other KPIs within Vision Correction
