    Our client, a leading player in the data centre construction sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data centre projects across Europe.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Work with the senior project team to procure key subcontract packages and other critical elements of the works. Generate quantified work packages, ITTs, and budgets from technical documents, and analyse and present tender returns. Prepare and agree on subcontract documents. Manage multiple subcontract packages from order through to final account, including monthly payments, variation, and claims management. Continuously monitor costs and financial entitlement on the packages/projects under your control. Engage actively with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, designers, and internal team members. Submit contractually compliant commercial documentation. Develop, submit, and agree on external valuations. Negotiate and agree on variations, omissions, and final accounts with subcontractors and clients promptly and professionally. Regularly report on cost/value and cash flow. Pro-actively work to resolve conflicts where possible. Supervise and develop junior members of the commercial team.
    Job Requirements:
    Relevant degree with experience in a main contracting and/or specialist contracting environment, with a particular focus on mechanical and electrical works. Strong technical understanding of MEP installations and processes. Familiarity with various methods of measurement. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong business relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent budgeting and financial forecasting skills.
