    Role Overview
    Our Trustee Board plays a significant strategic role alongside the Senior Management Team in helping CHSW meet the needs of the babies, children, young people and families we support, and delivering our vision. Our Board of Trustees currently has 10 independent members, and we are looking for at least 2 new Trustees to join us. We are looking to enhance the current Boards collective portfolio of skills and experience, and we are keen to secure a broad range of relevant voices to enrich our work. There is also an annual full-day Strategy Day and time set aside for Board Development. Board and Committee papers are circulated a week before the meetings to allow for preparation. Where possible we would like all Trustees to be able to attend in person on the full board meeting days, but we understand that this may not always be convenient for every Trustee and consideration will be given to include some remote attendance in the right circumstances. Trustees are appointed for a period of 3 years with the option of re-election to the Board for up to 9 years.
