Senior Behavioural Safety Trainer Competitive Salary + Electric Car or Allowance Harefield We care!
Because everyone who works for Clancy deserves to go home safe at the end of the d ay.
Whilst systems, processes and procedures all have an important role to play, we know that lasting improvements in safety come from people. From the conversations we have, the decisions we make and the behaviours we demonstrate every day.
That's why we're investing in a behavioural safety programme designed to reach every part of our business, and why we're looking for an experienced facilitator to help bring it to life.
This is not a traditional health and safety training role. It's an opportunity to influence attitudes, challenge thinking and help shape a positive safety culture. Working with everyone from frontline operational teams to senior leaders, you'll play a key role in helping us make safe behaviours a natural part of how we work.
The role…
We've invested in a comprehensive behavioural safety and cultural programme and are now looking for someone who can deliver it across the business whilst helping us embed long-term, sustainable change.
You'll deliver engaging training and facilitation sessions to a wide variety of audiences, adapting your approach to ensure the message resonates whether you're speaking with operatives on site, managers in the business or members of the leadership team.
Alongside delivery, you'll help develop our internal capability through a train-the-trainer approach, ensuring the programme continues to grow and evolve as our business does.
Here are some of the things you'll get involved in...
Delivering behavioural safety training across multiple sites and business areas.
• Facilitating engaging sessions that encourage discussion, challenge perceptions and influence behaviours.
• Building credibility and trust with colleagues at every level of the organisation.
• Supporting and developing internal trainers as part of a train-the-trainer model.
• Working with operational, health and safety, learning and development and leadership teams.
• Gathering feedback and insights to help continuously improve and evolve the programme.
• Supporting wider initiatives that strengthen Clancy's safety culture.
We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...
Experience facilitating training, workshops or behavioural programmes that influence people rather than simply transfer information.
The confidence to engage a room, adapt your style to different audiences and build credibility with both frontline employees and senior stakeholders.
You may have gained your experience within behavioural safety, organisational development, operational training, learning and development, culture change, health and safety or a related discipline.
Experience of construction, utilities, infrastructure or other operational environments would be helpful but isn't essential.
Most importantly, you'll understand that changing behaviour isn't about delivering slides. It's about engaging people, building trust and helping them see things differently.
