Experience working with or for Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) is essential, with familiarity with UK Power Networks (UKPN) processes being highly desirable.You will hold SSSTS as a minimum, with SMSTS considered advantageous, along with a valid Streetworks Supervisor (NRSWA) certification. An IOSH certificate is required, with a civil engineering qualification, HNC, and First Aid training viewed as beneficial. A background in energy projects, particularly cable installation, would be advantageous.You will be confident setting teams to work, supervising construction gangs on a day-to-day basis, and supporting the safe and efficient delivery of site activities. Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, are preferred, alongside a strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.Due to the mobile nature of the role, a full and valid UK driving licence is essential.
