We need reliable, safety-conscious HGV Class 1 Drivers . If you're looking for straightforward work just moving trailers, with no load handling involved, this is the perfect opportunity.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    This is a pure driving role with ZERO load handling involved. Your primary responsibilities will include:
    Moving trailers from fulfilment centres to delivery stations.
    No load handling - it's all driving
    Shifts vary, so flexibility is essential
    Routes and schedules provided via a simple, driver-friendly app
    Conducting essential pre- and post-vehicle checks
    Strictly adherence to Tacho and Working Time Directive rules .

    Various shift patterns are available, including a main 4 on / 4 off rota , with afternoon, and night shifts . Part-time options are also available. Flexibility is essential.

    £160 per shift (Monday-Friday)
    £175 per shift (Saturday-Sunday)
    _(3 months Probationary rate: £150/£165 per shift )_
    Guaranteed pay for cancelled shifts.

    Drive a modern Iveco CNG fleet (71/72 plate) , fully refreshed fleet every 5 years .

    What We Require:
    A minimum of 1 year's regular HGV Class 1 driving experience .
    At least 1 year of night driving experience .
    Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and a professional, "can-do" attitude.
    A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card .

Lead site teams during offsite work, where applicable. Contribute to the professional development of apprentices or junior staff (as required) Carry out any other tasks required to support the needs of the business.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum Level 3 BTEC/NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. 4+ years of experience in a workshop or shop-floor engineering role.
