    Job Introduction

    Landmarc Support Services are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to be part of our dynamic team. In this role, you'll take on a variety of maintenance, repair, and fabrication tasks to keep our estate running smoothly. You'll work on assets, vehicles, buildings, and equipment, ensuring everything is safe, reliable, and operating at its best.     Main Responsibilities
    Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems, and other equipment.
    Carry out diagnostic work and fault-finding to identify and resolve issues efficiently
    Use and maintain tools, machinery, and company equipment safely and effectively
    Conduct preventative maintenance and remedial repairs, including working at height or in confined spaces when required.
    Complete all documentation accurately using both IT and paper-based systems.
    Communicate effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and asset users to ensure smooth site operations.
    Provide mentorship and support to apprentices or trainees
    Undertake driving tasks, including operating specialist plant machinery if required.

    The Ideal Candidate
    Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ) or equivalent, with relevant experience.
    Full UK driving licence (Category C desirable)
    Solid understanding of health & safety practices, including COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
    Knowledge of specialist equipment (e.g., plant machinery and generators)
    IT proficiency to complete documentation and reports
    Ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment effectively
    Strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record of meeting objectives.
    Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with customers.
    Willingness to undertake training for high-risk environments (e.g., working at height or in confined spaces).

    What will I be doing?

    You'll be:

    A communicator : You are our master of diagnostics and you will be the person using your knowledge and training to see through the fix from start to finish. Delighting your customer is key and you will ensure your customer is completely taken care of, providing a best-in-class service.

    A self-starter : You will be content working independently; you manage the situation. You will be there for your customer from beginning to end, even booking your own parts and re-attending where necessary

    A fixer/problem solver : You will revel in utilising your technical expertise to solve a variety of issues. Whether that's fixing a warranty related issue or a roadside breakdown, you are the solution bringer and enable your customer to get on with their day

    What do I need?

    You'll need:

    NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience

    It's essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with no more than 6 points

    To be happy working shifts, which could include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays

    We have an opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner to join their team of staff in the Theatre department.

    This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

    Duties of this role include:

    Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments, maintaining sterility, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring equipment safety; support the Anaesthetist in equipment preparation, patient monitoring, airway management, and positioning; and provide post-operative care, monitoring vital signs, managing pain and nausea, and ensuring patient readiness for discharge.
    Adhere to infection prevention and control policies and procedures at all times.
    Set up operating theatres according to surgery type and specific patient requirements.
    Check all surgical and anaesthetic equipment prior to use and report faults immediately.
    Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve safe and efficient surgical lists
    Support and contribute to a positive, respectful, and efficient theatre environment.

    Applicants should meet the following criteria:

    Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).
    Experience or training in a theatre environment specialising in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery.
    Understanding of infection control, manual handling, and patient safety principles.
    Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and respond quickly to changes in a dynamic environment.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to safe surgical practice.

    Your Role
    An opportunity has arisen for a Garage workshop Supervisor in Corby, UK. The main purpose of this role is to oversee the workshop operation and maintain the vehicle fleet operated by the company based to the standard set by the Fleet Engineer and Dept of Transport. Ensure compliance with health and safety / environmental legislations.

    Your Responsibilities
    Liaising with the distribution manager to achieve planned maintenance/servicing of company operated vehicles.
    Organise the workshop throughput and controls work levels, ensuring the most economic use of manpower/facility resources.
    Ensures that all vehicles are maintained to the standards laid down by the Fleet Engineer, receiving advice from him on legislative changes which occur from time to time and may affect existing standards.
    Informs the distribution department of any vehicle downtime likely to affect operations.
    Organises MOT preparation and bookings, liaising with distribution for release of the vehicle in time for any reorganisation required.
    Maintaining all vehicle records including defect reports
    Ensures that all maintenance is carried out in the most economical manner, particularly in the area where decisions in a repair or replace situation occurs.
    Organise outside repair services such as warranty, specialist repairs, tyre servicing and other items under consultation with the Fleet Engineer.
    Is responsible for ensuring all workshop equipment is maintained in safe working condition as required by legislation.
    Your Profile
    Familiarity with common Microsoft Applications
    Competent at vehicle diagnostics
    HGV experience is required
    Understanding of DoT operating methods and procedures
    LGV licence (Preferred)
    Knowledge of bulk tanker pressure systems
    GSCE educated, with grade C or above in mathematics and English or equivalent
    City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Engineering or recognised equivalent qualification
    Certificate of professional competence in Road Transport (or equivalent)
    Demonstrable vehicle workshop experience

    Essential Functions: Warehouse: Follow company guidelines and policies on warehouse procedures Maintain a safe, efficient, and tidy working area Conduct daily cycle counts, to ensure inventory accuracy Receive inbound inventory, and accurately file the inventory in the stock room Pick customer orders as required to fulfill 100% on-time shipments Process all shipments through the required courier portals Ensure that all orders are picked, confirmed, and PGI'd at the end of each shift Process customer returns through SAP and CRM Collaborate with internal customers on a daily basis when communicating status/shipments as requested Report any problems to the Supply Chain manager in a timely manner Comply with governmental and corporate policies, procedures, and regulations Any other duties as instructed by your manager Office: When needed, assist the supply chain department on special projects, or assist them when required. Examples of this are (but not limited to): data entry, basic PO management, basic SAP bin management.
