What will you be responsible for?

As the lead on a subset of water supply infrastructure projects, you will focus on ensuring their smooth and efficient delivery. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders including government bodies, regulators, and water companies, as well as other relevant sectors and interested parties. You will also have a role in shaping the gated process and you will lead the gate assessment of your portfolio of SROs. You will play a vital role in the successful delivery of new water supply infrastructure which is essential to improving the resilience of water supplies and reducing unsustainable abstraction from the environment.

More generally, our Principals play a key role in driving delivery through effective project and resource planning, as well as through line management. Job title 64 Acquisition Surveyor

As an Acquisition Surveyor, you will play an important role in helping 3Mobile 4 Phone Operator clients to improve connectivity and performance of their networks to meet the growing demands of their customers by finding new mobile and telecommunications sites, upgrade existing sites and provide associated estates advice.

What you99ll do:

• Site Search
• Land ownership checks
• ECC valuations
• Attend client reviews & manage client reporting tools
• Organise surveys, attend site meetings, liaise with colleagues, clients, and agents
• Review of technical drawings
• Securing consents
• Negotiation of agreements
• Manage a portfolio of telecom sites with acquisition & planning deliverables
• Review legal documents and undertake land & property negotiations
• Prepare town planning pre-application strategies & consultations
• Prepare & submit planning applications to local planning authorities
• Agreement renewals
• Compile & manage programs of work & workloads
• Provide project wide administrative support
• Support training of graduates/junior members of the Acquisition teams
• Ensuring accurate site by site records and commentary
• Delivery of client milestone KPI99s
• Provide team/project wide support
• Support Business Development (BD) activity
• Help build client relationships

Who you are:

Someone with demonstrable experience of the below requirements and ideally who has worked within the Telecoms industry and are aware of the specific laws and legislation relating to that industry.

• Good IT skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within a team and with contractors
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
• Able to deal with continuous change
• Full driving licence
• Telecoms or property industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Property or Engineering qualifications or practical experience
• An understanding of Town Planning & Highways procedures
