Our client has complex medical needs following a brain injury at birth which has resulted in cerebral palsy and quadriplegia. Our client requires a calm, attentive support worker who is confident supporting young people with complex health needs and who can provide safe, compassionate care in the family home. He requires support with: Full personal care and continence support PEG feeding, hydration and medication administration Respiratory care including nebulisers, cough assist, physio, NP and oral suction and oxygen support Epilepsy monitoring and rescue medication Hoist transfers and wheelchair support Close observation due to complex medical needs Sensory play, music and community activities This role would suit someone who is kind, patient, and attentive, and who enjoys building meaningful relationships while supporting a young person with complex care needs.
