The Albex Group (Kent Foods Limited) supply food ingredients to the food manufacturing industry. The position will involve deliveries and overnights, driving curtain sided vehicles. We are looking for a hard-working dedicated driver to join our team.

We are offering a competitive salary of £40,625.00 per annum , for an average 48hr working week over 26 week WTD reference period .

An overnight allowance of £25. Will also be paid for nights out.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Mixer Driver to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for delivering concrete, aggregates, and other materials safely and efficiently using grab wagons, tipper trucks, and concrete mixers.

While experience with concrete mixers is an advantage, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate HGV vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Load and unload materials as required, using appropriate equipment.

The vehicle recovery role involves recovery of a vehicle following a breakdown or accident from the roadside to a final destination which is primarily carried out within a 100km radius working area; although at times you may be required to carry out longer distance recoveries to any UK destination.

The role of a recovery operative is to attend breakdowns in all weathers, so you need to be prepared to work outside and sometimes in difficult conditions in order to recover vehicles and customers.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and skilled PSV/HGV Vehicle Technicians to work within our engineering team. The job involves inspection and quality repair work to our fleet of company vehicles ensuring completion to company and Department of Transport standards.

Successful applicants must be able to work unsupervised to company and DVSA standards and have experience of working with PCV or HGVs. A City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, is essential, a full manual driving licence is preferred but not essential.

This is a full-time role, and you will be required to work 39 hours per week. This is based on a rotation shift including some weekends.
The remuneration for this role is hourly paid and equated to £48,000 OTE for day shifts and £54,000 OTE for Evening shifts. All overtime over 39 hours is paid at 1.3x
We are also offering a 'Golden handshake' where successful candidates will receive a £5K welcoming bonus (subject to Tax &NI).

We have an opportunity for a Afternoon/ Evening Engineer to join our Redditch depot.

Rate of pay is £19.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for engineers to work a 40-hour contract Monday - Friday 14.00pm - 10.30pm (With a 00.00 finish on a Friday)

The individual must be a team player willing to learn and adapt to the running of a busy workshop.

Experience of the industry HGV or PSV is necessary, and the individual must be confident in fault finding and rectification of all types of faults and defects.

A PSV licence is preferred for the role but not essential

A good knowledge of the DVSA rules and legislation is important as inspections and MOT preparation will be required.

Your daily tasks will include:
Preparing the fleet for PVR the next morning
Service and inspections of the fleet.
Defect and rectification from driver walk round checks at the end of the busses shift
Engine, Adblue, Gearbox, Running gear replacements and repairs.
Attending and repairing roadside breakdowns where possible
