About the role Here at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, we are looking for a Field Sales Executive based in Exeter This role will be working a 37.5 hour week, but we are very flexible with regards to start and finish times to fit in with your schedule.
    What will I be doing? As part of our dedicated Regional Field Sales Team, you will play a key role in securing new business for SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK. This is an exciting opportunity to use your sales expertise in a purpose‑led industry, helping organisations transition towards more sustainable waste and recycling solutions. Day to day, you’ll be out in your local area building relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and offering a tailored Total Waste Solution. Your work will directly support our targets for sales performance, revenue growth, and sustainability. Your key responsibilities will include: Securing profitable new business proactively and reactively within your area to meet sales and revenue targets. Building strong relationships with customers and presenting effective, sustainable waste solutions. Creating sales plans, delivering presentations, negotiating confidently at all levels, and supporting the wider Field Sales team. Promoting recycling‑led services and helping customers understand the benefits of resource‑efficient waste solutions. What are the requirements? You will bring: A proven track record in Sales, with the drive to achieve and exceed targets. IT literacy and confidence using CRM or digital reporting systems. The ability to create sales plans, present persuasively, and negotiate effectively at all levels. A collaborative approach and the ability to work creatively and effectively within a wider Field Sales team. About the Role Based at our North Tyneside site. £12.41 per hour until trained on mobile plant then £12.71. Full Time / Permanent role based on 42 hours per week. 4on / 4 off shift pattern 12hr day (6.30am to 18.30 pm).
    What will I be doing? You will carry out the operation of loading shovels, FLT & tele-handlers across the site, loading a variety of different types of vehicles such as curtain sided vehicles, shipping containers and bulk haulage walking floors.  To ensure the safe and efficient operation of fixed machinery, such as bailing machines. Completing daily checks and maintenance of mobile plant, Fixed Plant and equipment used at the facility. To direct customer’s vehicles to the various disposal areas and assist them with off-loading as required. Assisting Sampling Operatives with collection of output samples. To ensure the site is kept clean and tidy at all times. To assist Production staff with their duties during end of shift clean-ups and plant downtime. Contributing to lean and 5’s activities across the site in order to maintain a clean, organised and efficient workplace. To work as part of a team to maintain an efficient and cost-effective operation. Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.
    What are the requirements? We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who is willing to train and obtain mobile plant operation qualifications. You will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required, you will need:  A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required. A safety conscious approach with the desire to develop & embrace change to promote continuous improvement. Previous experience within the waste industry or other high-volume production processes is an advantage, but not a necessity.
