The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of groundwork and maintenance activities, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The Role The role will involve carrying out a variety of groundwork and external maintenance tasks, including: Fencing Brickwork and pointing Concrete works Slabbing and paving Drainage repairs and renewals Flagging Tarmac patching Manhole repairs General groundwork and external maintenance Experience of high-pressure water jetting would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Additional trade skills and experience would also be welcomed. About You The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience working as a Groundworker or in a similar maintenance role. Practical experience across groundwork and external works. Experience with drainage repairs and renewals. Experience in fencing, brickwork, pointing, concrete works and slabbing. Knowledge of tarmac repairs and manhole maintenance. Good understanding of building and property maintenance. Experience working within a housing or social housing environment would be advantageous. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, including vulnerable residents. A strong commitment to quality and a "right first time" approach. Ability to work effectively as part of a wider maintenance team. Flexibility to work across the wider South West London region when required.
