    We're looking for qualified Vehicle Technicians (Level 3 with MOT or above) to join our established aftersales team. Whether you're qualified at Level 3 or already an experienced Diagnostic or Master Technician, we'd love to hear from you.

    Salary

    Basic Salary: £35,360 - £40,040 (depending on experience)
    Bonus Potential: £1,500 - £5,760 per year
    OTE: £36,860 - £45,800

    Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
    No Saturday mornings!

    The Role

    As a Walkers Technician, you'll play a key part in keeping our customers on the road safely and confidently. Your role will involve:

    Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard
    Using the latest diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults efficiently
    Undertaking repair work on engines, electrics, brakes, suspension and other vehicle systems
    Completing detailed Vehicle Health Checks with accuracy and care
    Road testing vehicles to ensure work is completed to manufacturer standards
    Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and workshop efficiency
    Maintaining a tidy, safe and professional working environment

    What We're Looking For

    We're seeking skilled technicians who take pride in their work and want to build their careers with a family-owned group. You'll already hold a Level 3 qualification and MOT licence (or above) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and bring with you a solid foundation in servicing and repair. Technicians not currently accredited to carry MOT's may still apply but must be willing undertake the MOT training program.

    Observe, recognise and report on vehicle structure and paintwork.

    Torque all safety critical bolts and enter details in the log.

    £1500 signing on bonus, split over 2 payments.

    £500 - after 1 month

    £1000 after 6 months

    Trunking between our depot in Great Yarmouth and our network hubs in the Midlands. Usual shift pattern is 5 nights per week, Monday to Friday & normally around 11-12 hour shift.

    Trunking is undertaken on double deck curtain side trailers, the scheduled arrival time at the hub will determine the departure time from our depot, but it is normally 18:00 - 20:00 (To be confirmed at interview). Prior to departure the driver will undertake walk round checks and secure the load.

    Having arrived at the hub, you will wait to be called in and be unloaded, returning then to the truck park to await call for reloading. Once reloaded, you will secure your load and return to the depot.

    Salary position. £40500 / year.

    PLUS: Daily meal allowance of £10 / shift worked - PAID TAX FREE. £50 / WEEK.

    TOTAL £42820 + SIGNING ON BONUS.

    28 Days holiday / year. Some fixed holiday over Christmas shut down & holiday ban over the two week Easter period.
