The role offers hybrid working arrangements, meaning a mix of office & home base, with visits being completed to carers.

    Are passionate and want to actively contribute to the growth and development of the Fostering service.
    Have a relevant professional qualification in Social Work.
    Are Social Work England (SWE) registered.
    Have worked in a fostering related social work role and /or child social care, such as a looked after children's team.
    Have experience and can demonstrate evidence of identifying the needs of young people.
    Have a good knowledge of fostering regulations, childcare law and safeguarding issues.
    Can make objective professional assessments of children and young people.
    Have access to a car and a valid driving licence.

    Responsibilities

    Transport gas cylinders to various customer locations in a timely manner.
    Ensure safe loading and unloading of products at each delivery site.
    Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
    Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
    Adhere to all traffic laws and Company policies while on the road.

    Requirements

    Class 2 Driving Licence.
    Proven experience in route driving and commercial vehicle operation.
    Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transporting hazardous materials.
    Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
    Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

    Job Introduction

    Landmarc Support Services are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage multiple small-scale projects across the Training Estate. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

    This role requires Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) knowledge and experience to effectively manage minor works projects covering electrical, mechanical, and fabric-related works. You will liaise with key stakeholders, contractors, and statutory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

    Location: Swynnerton Training Camp, Cold Meece, Nr Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 0QN

    Travel required: Covering Leek, Whittington, Kingsbury, Caple Curig. (Expenses supported by the company)

    Main Responsibilities

    Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of minor Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects, including planning, risk management, procurement, and delivery.

    Compliance & Safety: Ensure projects meet CDM regulations, health & safety requirements, and industry standards (e.g., COSHH, LOLER, PUWER, Legionella, Asbestos).

    Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost-effective project execution.

    Stakeholder Management: Liaise with customers, internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project delivery.

    Technical Expertise: Provide M&E technical input for design, specification, and implementation of minor works.

    Risk & Quality Control: Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring sustainability targets and compliance with Building Regulations & MOD standards (JSPs, DMGs).

    Support National Projects: Assist with major/complex projects when required, including progress reviews, H&S inspections, and quality control.

    The Ideal Candidate

    Knowledge & Experience:

    Strong knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and associated regulations
    Knowledge of managing multiple minor works projects (electrical, mechanical, and fabric)
    Strong ability to work with contractors and supply chains to ensure project delivery.
    Knowledge of New Engineering Contracts (NEC) and Building Regulations (including Scotland & Northern Ireland)
    Proficient in workload scheduling and work order processes in a multi-tasking environment.
    Familiarity with MOD Defence Contracts, JSPs, DMGs (desirable)

    Essential Criteria:

    Level 4 qualification (NVQ/HNC) in Construction, Project Management, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
    Understanding of health & safety standards, including CDM Regulations, COSHH, LOLER, PUWER, Legionella, and Asbestos management
    Strong M&E knowledge with experience managing small-scale M&E projects.
    Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines and quality standards.
    Confident in budget management and contract requirements interpretation.
    Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
    Strong IT skills, including MS Excel and MS Project
    Must hold a UK driving licence - travel required
