    Duties:

    Providing advice and guidance to Headteachers, School Business Managers and Senior Leaders on all HR related issues,
    Professionally maintain and support casework including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence issues,
    Create and deliver policy related training,
    Ensure HR relate policies, procedures, guidance notes and intranet pages are maintained and easily accessible to managers, enabling application and good practice.

    Experience:

    Must have a demonstrable level of generalist HR experience in an advisory capacity and Level 7 CIPD qualifications.
    Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work well on initiative and well as part of a team, within a confidential and sensitive environment.

    Salary: £24.50 per hour worked

    Duties:

    Working as part of a positive, organised and well established team in a busy, high volume, canteen style service environment including:
    Serving customers to advised portion and quality standards,
    Clearing tables and trolleys
    Loading and unloading dishwashers and washing up larger cooking items,
    Cleaning kitchen area, dining room and setting up for next service,
    Adherence to health and safety and COSHH regulations.

    Experience:

    Must have good customer service and communication skills with the ability to work calmly within a fast paced environment, to instructions.
    Must be able to stand for long periods and undertake basic manual handling tasks.
    Reliability is required, catering experience is preferred but not essential.
    A food safety / hygiene certification in an advantage however training will be provided.
    A valid DBS ( within 12 months or part of the update service) is preferred.
    Own transport is recommended due to location.

    Salary: £12.60 per hour worked

    Duties:

    Provide leadership and direction, for managing the commercial aspects of the Highways PFI contract.
    Work in collaboration with the Strategic Manager, Group Engineer, Transport Strategy Manager, and the Network Manager as part of a Senior Contract Management Team (SCMT) to maintain and develop an effective scrutiny framework.
    Performance manage the highways maintenance contractor service company and operational company including site inspections and audits; and Communication with stakeholders internally and externally including elected members and Town / Parish Councils.
    Lead in the scrutiny of change events and issue contractual notices to the Service Provider
    Review planned investment against Financial Model forecasts, challenge investment profiles and forecasts against network requirements.

    Experience:

    Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of financial and commercial processes and contract management through experience in a similar position.
    A high level of understanding of how the council's role as a highway authority fits with its wider corporate strategic objectives and the interrelationships between the different directorates.
    An understanding of and experience of procurement and commercial processes market development that can be transferred to the services managed by the Highways PFI Team.
    Strong understanding of national legislation and local government policy and best practice regarding finance and commercial processes, contract and budget monitoring and setting.
    Experience and understanding of project and programme management.
    Able to demonstrate examples of inspiring and motivating staff and of managing their performance.
    Educated to degree level or equivalent standard/experience in a relevant subject and relevant professional qualification.

    Salary: £51.35 per hour worked

    To comment on pre-applications and planning applications that affect, or have the potential to affect, trees.
    To assess requests for new TPOs, assist with making new orders where appropriate and assist with or undertake TPO reviews.
    To respond to reports of unauthorised works to protected trees and assist with investigations and any subsequent enforcement action when appropriate.
    To assist in High Hedge complaints made under the Anti-social Behaviour Act, serve remedial notices as appropriate and investigate and make recommendations to the councils legal services on breaches of remedial notices.
    To assist in the process of village green applications, including assessment of evidence and preparation of reports for the determination of village green applications.
    To assist to other service-related activities and associated disciplines/workstreams as may be required by the Planning Leadership team.

    Experience:

    Must have previous experience of working for a local planning authority (LPA) as a tree officer determining applications, or as a tree surgeon submitting applications to an LPA.
    Must have good communication skills both verbally and in writing and the ability to work well on own initiative.
    Must have excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
    Must have own transport, due to the duties of the role and a good level of computer literacy.

    Salary:  £27.00 per hour worked

    Experience:

    Must have a good level of computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems, experience of Eque2 is an advantage.
    Must have strong numeracy skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
    Must have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
    Must be proactive and motivated with willingness to develop positively through change.
    Own transport is recommended due to company location.

    Salary:  £35-40,000 per annum DOE
