    Shifts: Days We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK, they have recently won a large amount of work so are looking to extend their workforce. The successful applicants will ideally have structural steel welding experience. You will be responsible for achieving high quality standards in a safe manner within the production time scales. Shifts:
    * Day Shifts – Monday to Thursday -6.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 6.30am to 12.30pm Pay Rates (PAYE) : Days – £18.89 ( £43’220.32 per annum) Overtime rates available. Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test. The weld test will include 135 Mag Welding Process.
    Test 1 – 8mm Single run Fillet Weld.
    Test 2 – 10mm Multi run Fillet Weld.

    * 07:00 to 17:00 We are currently recruiting for a number of Vehicle Installation Electricians for an ongoing contract based in Ballymena. You will be responsible for the installation and test of chassis and body electrical control systems in accordance with customer specification, ensuring the necessary quality standards are maintained and adhered to. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
    * To ensure that work carried out is to the company agreed quality standard and ensure that all such quality sign offs, and procedures are complied with.
    * Responsible for ensuring that the vehicle electrical control system is installed to the specification requirements as detailed by the relevant documentation.
    * Responsible for the installation and modification of vehicle wiring harnesses and components as detailed in the contract build documentation.
    * Responsible for the termination of various automotive and high voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
    * Responsible for the test and commissioning of the vehicle electrical system as per Quality Assurance documentation.
    * Responsible for the fault finding and repair of the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software.
    * Responsible for ensuring the installation is completed in accordance with the allocated process time.
    * Must be prepared to work overtime when requested by management.
    * Undertake any training or retraining associated with the post, or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes including the training of others.
    * Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
    * You must maintain high standards of personal accountability.
    * Staying away from home on occasions will be necessary to meet the requirements of the role.

    * Achieve production targets.
    * Double-check connections to ensure they match and record any discrepancies in assembly log.

    * General cleaning and preparation of engine, transmission and raft parts using manual tools, dual acting sander (DA) scrapers, etc.
    * Load / unload parts into cleaning machines.
    * Follow the relevant working instructions / process plans etc.
    * Inspect for signs of damage/wear.
    * Disassemble parts for re-use/deep cleaning.
    * Record acceptance or rejection of parts on inspection report.
    * Identify structural and material defects.
    * Interpret and present findings of faults.
    * Understand the production schedule, and work closely with production and engineering to build a schedule that delivers minimum interruption to manufacturing output.
    * Maintain NDT equipment as and when required.
    * Mentor trainees / apprentices when applicable.
    * Work to and support all relevant 5S activities.
    * Report any near misses.
