    Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Driver with a Class 2 license to drive a Gully Trucks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road safety regulations and possess excellent driving skills. You will be responsible for transporting and emptying gully waste from various locations efficiently and safely.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Driving and Operation: Operate Gully Truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies. Drive designated routes to collect and dispose of gully waste from specified locations.

    Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the Gully Truck before and after each journey, ensuring that it is in proper working condition. Report any defects or issues promptly to the appropriate department for maintenance.

    Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload gully waste at designated disposal sites, following proper procedures to ensure environmental compliance and safety standards.

    Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and waste collected. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation as required by company procedures and regulatory agencies.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Valid Class 2 HGV license

    Previous experience of operating a Gully Truck or similar vehicle preferred but full training given.

    Assist the business in resolving/managing refrigeration related problems throughout our customer base and visit site where required to see through to completion.
    Provide a point of contact for refrigeration engineers relating to refrigeration matters.
    Provide support to the refrigeration engineers in carrying out their refrigeration related tasks as directed by the business or on request from the engineer.
    Assist in the development of technical support data for refrigeration equipment and van stock parts in support of the refrigeration engineers.
    Ensure all refrigeration movements are documented correctly and are up to date.
    Liaise with department heads in planning of refrigeration services
    Ensure all F-Gas qualifications are kept up to date and renewal course planned in with good time.
    Audit all Refrigeration engineers to ensure they are up to standard.

    Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

    Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration with CO2 and Hydrocarbon qualifications.
    This role requires occasional flexibility in working hours, including travel across the UK to support complex service issues when needed.
    You must be a fully qualified Refrigeration Engineer with Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 qualification (Fgas Qualification)
    You should hold a NVQ / C&G Level 2 in Refrigeration or equivalent.
    Walk in Fridge/Freezer experience
    You must have a full, valid UK driving Licence.
    Good communication skills.
    Equipment diagnostic and equipment repair skills.
    Ability to work at heights and be competent in the use of access equipment.

    Responsibilities

    Ensure all aspects safety and customer site rules are adhered to.
    To drive defensively and fuel efficiently at all times.
    Ensuring all delivery and collection notes and paperwork are correct.
    Provide accurate paperwork relevant to debriefing of allocated jobs.
    Ensuring all transport legislation including driver's hours and vehicle defect reporting is adhered to.
    Provide an exceptional standard of service to our customers.

    Requirements:

    A current and valid HGV Licence
    At least 6 months of experience driving on UK roads
    Drivers CPC card essential

    Salary: £38,467.78 per annum (45 hours at £14.09ph and 5 hours at overtime rate)

    + Weekly performance/attendance bonus at £27.50

    Option to work occasional Saturdays, at a day rate of £150.

    Regular over time available, paid at £21.14 per hour for hours undertaken in excess of 45 per week.

    The Electrical Support Engineer will hold a technical role within the company and should set examples of excellent conduct and professionalism. For individual projects, they will report to the assigned Project Manager, however, dependent on experience they could be expected to accept ownership of certain lower valued contracts.

    Accountabilities

    Typical (non-exhaustive) duties may include: -

    Carry out electrical installation work to BS7671.
    Carry out installation, service and repair to a variety of low voltage electrical control systems.
    Carry out installation and commissioning of a variety of instrumentation & control systems, controllers including flow, solids, pH, pressure, levels & actuated knife gate valves.
    Carry out installation and commissioning of a variety of instrumentation & control systems sensors.
    Be capable of carrying out mechanical assembly/modification of pipework assemblies where minor blockages have occurred, modifications are required or replacement of leaking pipe sections.
    Routine maintenance calls with probe cleaning
    Conduct planned preventative maintenance and calibration of instruments on Unitsparks's product range.
    All should be PC literate and be able to demonstrate IT skills to be able to carry out the following:

    - Very Basic Microsoft package skills (Word- Excel)
    - Access, read and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
    - Load software, make operating system modifications - Training given
    - Change PC module peripherals as required - Training given.

    Can be suitably trained by Unitspark to undertake calibration / verification of solids metering and Instrumentation.
