    We’re looking for a Chef De Partie to join the Butlin's team based in Bognor Regis.

    Working as a chef at Butlin’s gives you the opportunity to provide an amazing experience to our guests, wherever they choose to dine on our resorts. We offer a wide range of food varieties with menus designed to excite our guests. 

    As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities in this role will be a key factor in our kitchens. You will be support the Junior Kitchen Manager and oversee the daily operation in your own section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
     
    You will also maintain a clean and organised workstation, always adhering the health and safety regulations demonstrating these responsibilities as a behaviour standard to the Commis Chefs you will lead, train and mentor with guidance and support as needed. 

    This is a 35 hour role, working 5 days over 7 including weekends, paid fortnightly. Breakfast shifts are 4am - 12pm, Dinner shifts are 11am - 7.30pm. Live in accommodation may be available if over 18 and relocating to the area. 
    About You

    We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Restaurants Department based in Skegness.  

    Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and support in leading a team of up to 15. Making our guests smile is at the heart of our values, and you will ensure this happens consistently by ensuring that guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions. This will include resource planning, recruitment and selection, ensuring that we have the very best team in place to deliver an amazing service. 

    You will be passionate about exceptional experience and will monitor this regularly to develop action plans in your venue with a focus on continuous improvement. Financial performance will play an important part in your role, and you will deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification. You will also support in the accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety,inline with legislation and company policies. 

    You will be a role model for the Butlin’s unique way of working, ensuring training schedules and performance development plans are in place for your team and inspiring them to deliver a great experience to guests every time. You will be accountable for stocktakes, rosters, timesheets, health & safety compliance and food safety compliance for the kitchen you lead and form a close working relationship with the Venue Manager and front of house team to provide an all-round service. 

    You will support candidates on our in-house Chef Academy Development program and attend workshops and training where required. The role is part of the Buffets department and there may be times that you support other kitchen teams and take part in our event work should a conference take place on resort.

    You will communicate with the Food Development Team in respect to operational challenges and establish and develop a highly motivated, pro-active culinary team with the highest ethical standards that deliver a cost effective and quality-oriented service product opportunities. You will enforce cost control procedures and monitor waste and breakage as well as have a collaborative approach with kitchen and front of house team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

    We are looking for individuals with previous experience in a similar level role managing a kitchen operation, with experience of managing team performance and clear track record of developing people effectively in a commercial culinary environment.

    We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Team based in Bognor Regis.

    A Butlin’s resort is the home of getting stuck in and no trip to the seaside would be complete without great food and we offer this to every guest, every time in our restaurant. You will be responsible for running a busy kitchen which caters for approximately 140 covers serving American style food through busy bottomless brunch, lunch and dinner services. 

    You will lead and ensure the team comply with all food safety, health & safety and all company policies and procedures. As with any chef role at this level, you will also be responsible for managing margins and controlling costs and all things health, safety and hygiene related.
    About You
    We are looking for individuals with experience in a similar level role. We would also love to hear from you if you're looking to step up to your next role in the kitchen.

    You will need to be hard working and determined, a reliable person who likes to get things done and who will look for better ways for the team to consistently deliver our brand standards.
