    Rate of pay is £20.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

    We are looking for engineers to work a 40-hour contract 04.30am - 13.00pm

    The individual must be a team player willing to learn and adapt to the running of a busy workshop.

    Experience of the industry HGV or PSV is necessary, and the individual must be confident in fault finding and rectification of all types of faults and defects.

    A PSV licence is preferred for the role but not essential

    A good knowledge of the DVSA rules and legislation is important as inspections and MOT preparation will be required.

    Your daily tasks will include:

    Making sure PVR is met every morning
    Service and inspections of the fleet.
    Engine, Adblue, Gearbox, Running gear replacements and repairs.
    Attending and repairing roadside breakdowns where possible
    Making sure wheel retorque procedures are done every morning

You will be enrolled into the Market Leading DAF training programme with the opportunity to become a DAF Master Technician. The ideal candidate will have a positive 'can do' attitude and will need to be hard working, motivated and well-organised. They need to be happy to work as part of a dynamic team and must be able to communicate to a high level. This is a varied role within a fast-paced environment.

    Hours of work:

    Day Shift - Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:00 (40 hours per week plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis)

    Qualifications and experience required:

    City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
    Computer literate
    Previous experience in the Commercial industry

    Preferred but not essential requirements:

    HGV licence
    IRTEC Licence
    Main dealer experience

    Training would be funded by Chassis Cab for those who do not hold these qualifications.

    Responsibilities

    Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately

    Liase with customers and ensure vehicles are repaired on time as per customers expectations

    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and legislation

    Work as a team with the other motorhome technicians who work on vehicles habitation areas

    Key Requirements

    Proven experience as a vehicle technician, ideally with Level 3 certificate in light vehicle maintenance and repair.

    Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes

    Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to diagnose faults using supplied diagnostic equipment

    A relevant qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

    The ability to work as an individual or as part of a team

    A full UK driving licence

    You will be working 5 days out of 7, including weekends. There is limited evening work which would be 2-3 nights per week from May-September.

    Responsibilities

    Work alongside the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Taking responsibility an control
    Help oversee all aspects of food production and preparation, ensuring outstanding attention to detail and presentation standards.
    Develop with the Head Chef innovative menus that highlight the very best Scottish (Highlands) seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

    Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to enhance their skills and ensure consistency throughout the operation.

    Skills

    Strong background in hospitality with extensive culinary knowledge and experience
    Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and taking responsibility for food standards and presentation when on shift.
    Experience of working in an award-winning establishment, ideally of 1 AA Rosette or equivalent.
    Excellent skills in food production and preparation techniques.
    In-depth understanding of food safety practices and regulations including COSHH and CookSafe or other HACCP based system.
    Exceptional leadership abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing team members.
    Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
