As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Fire Door Installer and Remediation Works to join our team.

    Role Overview

    As a Fire Door Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire doors across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government buildings. The role requires a meticulous professional with a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and installation and remediation standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Install fire doorsets to the highest standards and to manufacturers installation guides, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (BS 8214, Approved Document B).
    Carry out fire door remedial works, including gap adjustments, component replacements, and repair techniques in line with industry guidance information.
    Conduct thorough inspections of fire doors and provide reports on compliance.
    Ensure all work adheres to relevant health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
    Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
    Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and colleagues.
    Use digital reporting tools (e.g., site apps, field management systems) to upload evidence and complete documentation.

    Required Skills & Experience

    Proven experience as a Fire Door Installer.
    NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or equivalent.
    Knowledge of fire safety regulations and third-party certification schemes (e.g., BM TRADA, FIRAS).
    Strong carpentry and joinery skills.
    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    Understanding of passive fire protection and compartmentation.
    Full UK driving license (preferred).
    CSCS card (or equivalent).
    Two trade references

    Desirable Qualifications

    FIRAS, BMTrada experience, IFC Certification
    SSSTS.
    Asbestos Awareness training.

    The role of the Renewables Electrician / Electrical Installer will be responsible for undertaking installations of Solar PV, Mechanical ventilation and Electric Storage heaters. Together with our team assisting in all paperwork being completed and lodged ensuring full compliance to MCS and Building Regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Carry out electrical modifications including the installation, relocation, or amendment of plug sockets, switches, and lighting fixtures.

    Perform electrical safety checks and ensure full compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations.

    Remain up to date with changes to relevant building codes and safety regulations.
    Ensure all electrical systems comply with national safety standards and regulations.

    Genuine variety. You will be provide routine maintenance and repair, pre-test inspections and identify any potential problems or safety hazards and take vehicles for test.

    Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Fabricate and weld components as needed. Use power tools and equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble HGV parts.

    Conduct road tests to ensure proper functioning of vehicles after repairs. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Working with specialist contractors on Horsebox builds and refurbishments, as well as liaising directly with customers.

    Essential:

    - Class II HGV license

    - Heavy goods and vehicle mechanical skills

    - Steel welding experience

    - Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment

    Desired Skills:

    - Previous experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role preferred
