Join us as a Manufacturing Engineer As a Manufacturing Engineer at Yunex Traffic, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming innovative designs into high-quality products. Your expertise in mechanical product assembly will drive the seamless transition from concept to production, ensuring efficiency and excellence at every stage. You’ll spearhead the adoption of advanced manufacturing techniques and tooling, revolutionizing processes to deliver cost-effective, reliable solutions. Working within a collaborative and dynamic team, you’ll champion quality, problem-solving, and continuous improvement to keep us at the forefront of the industry. Responsibilities: Lead New Product Introduction (NPI): Define innovative manufacturing methods and guide design and production teams through successful implementation. Drive Structured Problem-Solving: Apply systematic approaches to resolve production-related issues promptly and effectively. Optimise Costs and Processes: Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and introduce innovative processes, techniques, and tooling. Develop Workforce Capability: Deliver training and guidance to operators on production processes and best practices. Act as Manufacturing Liaison: Serve as the primary interface between manufacturing and other business functions to ensure alignment and collaboration. Build Strong Relationships: Foster positive and productive relationships with internal teams and external customers. Champion Health & Safety: Take an active role in identifying and implementing health and safety improvements. Lead Root Cause Analysis: Drive investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues. Introduce Advanced Manufacturing Techniques: Utilize engineering tools and methodologies to identify and implement new technologies. Plan and Optimise Workflow: Analyze and design layouts, space requirements, and equipment placement to maximise efficiency and flow. Coordinate Equipment Maintenance: Ensure timely preventative maintenance and repairs to maintain production uptime. Advise on Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Provide input to design authorities to enhance manufacturability, reduce complexity and cost. Qualifications & Experience:  HNC / Degree in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience), with Electronics being desirable. Awareness of modern manufacturing practices and processes. Working knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Strong teamwork skills, effective communication, and high team morale. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Experience in manufacturing for system assembly (desirable). Proven experience in a similar discrete electronics assembly environment. 3D CAD software experience (Solidworks/Solidedge desirable. Join us as a Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and line-manage a small team on site and in the depot to ensure timely completion of work. Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders, both onsite and digitally. Deliver and support training initiatives for your team and others as needed. Work collaboratively with customers and other contractors that may be on site. Ensure works are completed to the required quality standards and in accordance with the site specification and the company’s relevant product and installation handbooks. Attend, diagnose and resolve faults on traffic signal assets and any other equipment covered within the scope of the Traffic Signal Maintenance (TSM) contract. Produce and submit high quality, detailed and accurate clearance notes via the relevant Fault Management System (FMS) and other digital platforms as required.
