If so, the Compliance Engagement Partner role may be right for you.We are looking for talented compliance professionals to join our Advisory team within the Non-Financial Risk Oversight function. As part of the second line of defence, you will be responsible for supporting and challenging a range of business activities to ensure that regulatory and conduct risks are identified and mitigated. This an exciting opportunity to be a trusted business partner helping teams across YBS to understand and manage their regulatory and conduct risks. About the roleAs a Compliance Engagement Partner, you will lead advisory activities to help YBS meet our regulatory and legislative obligations. You will support our regulatory compliance-aware culture to deliver good customer outcomes. You will do this through:Providing advice to business stakeholders through taking part in business partnering activities.Supporting key strategic projects and change initiatives by helping the responsible business owners identify risks and put in place solutions or requirements that mitigate those risks.Lead programmes of activities in your portfolio, managing queries and allocating appropriate resources as needed.Horizon scanning and assessment of regulatory change, including initial impact assessment and sharing key outputs with relevant senior leaders and business stakeholders.Supporting in the management of the relationship with our regulators, including coordinating submission of data for information requests and supporting regulator visits.Supporting the delivery of Compliance reporting, ensuring submissions to risk committees and other governance fora are of the highest quality.Please Note: The role is based at our office in the centre of Leeds with a mix of office-based and home working.
