Our provision is primarily for students aged 16-19, alongside courses for adult learners and apprentices. Our students are enthusiastic, well-motivated, and keen to succeed, creating a positive and rewarding teaching environment. Courses include A Level, Access to Higher Education, HNC, Level 3 vocational programmes, and apprenticeships. This is a full-time role, but we may be willing to consider part-time or flexible working arrangements to meet individual needs. About you We are looking for an enthusiastic and student-centred teacher with a genuine passion for Chemistry and the ability to inspire learners to achieve their full potential. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and those at the start of their teaching career. You will hold a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification. We also welcome applications from individuals without a formal teaching qualification who can demonstrate relevant experience gained in industry or higher education. For the right candidate, we offer full support to gain a teaching qualification while developing classroom experience. About the College York College & University Centre is the largest further education college in the region, offering a comprehensive range of courses from Entry Level to degree level.
