Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 7.5 ton driver/Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by assisting with various tasks related to transportation, Furniture delivery, and general walkround maintenance. This position requires someone who is capable of communicating effectively, driving various vehicles.
Responsibilities
Safely operate 7.5 Ton box vehicles, vans, and other delivery vehicles as required.
Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and materials in a timely manner.
Ensure that all deliveries are made accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.
Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Provide support for any additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience operating f
7.5 ton vehicles is a must plus driver CPC.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills.
