    The Role We are seeking a talented NQ Employment Solicitor to join the highly regarded Employment team of a Legal 500 ranked law firm based in central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor or junior associate (up to 2 years' PQE) to join a well-established and growing team recognised for providing high-quality employment law advice to a broad range of commercial clients. You will work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload, gaining exposure to complex and high-profile matters while benefiting from excellent training, mentoring and long-term career progression. The successful candidate will advise employers across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with clients to deliver commercially focused and pragmatic legal solutions. Key Responsibilities Advising employer clients on a broad range of day-to-day employment law matters. Supporting clients on disciplinary, grievance, capability and redundancy processes. Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, service agreements, staff handbooks and workplace policies. Advising on settlement agreements and negotiated exits. Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims, including preparing pleadings, witness statements and supporting documentation. Providing employment law support on corporate transactions, including TUPE and due diligence matters. Advising on discrimination, whistleblowing and unfair dismissal issues. Keeping clients informed of developments in employment legislation and best practice. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through responsive and commercially focused advice. Supporting business development initiatives, networking events and marketing activities alongside the wider Employment team. About You Qualified Solicitor with NQ-2 years' PQE in Employment law. Strong employment law experience gained during training and/or post-qualification within a recognised law firm. Experience advising employer clients across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills. A commercial and pragmatic approach to providing legal advice. Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to develop a long-term career in employment law. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver excellent client service.
