This is a hands-on role involving the movement and handling of timber products, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the yard and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled safely and efficiently. What Youll Be Doing Operating a sideloader forklift to move and store timber and wood products Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently Picking and preparing customer orders accurately Handling long, heavy, and awkward loads with care Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Supporting stock control and general yard operations What Were Looking For Valid sideloader forklift licence (preferred) Previous experience in a timber yard, builders merchant, or similar environment (preferred) Confident handling of long or bulky materials Strong awareness of health
