    Wild Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Product Support Engineer to join our client. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical assistance to clients and internal teams. The position is suitable for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional support and resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
    Duties

    Incorporate simple design changes to in-service products, primarily like-for-like material changes due to obsolescence.
    Track upcoming and in-progress changes on master tracker.
    Work with existing product support engineers to identify acceptable solutions to obsolescence or material availability issues.
    Update customers on design progress and seek customer approvals of changes.
    Modify bills of materials (BOMS) on Inventory management system.
    Issue engineering change notices and monitor/chase to completion.
    Modify technical documentation to record changes made to designs.
    Collaborate with operations (production and purchasing) on point of embodiment plans.
    Attend operations stand-up meetings and log any new change requests for triage and planning.

    Key Skills

    Organised and thorough approach to workload and backlog planning.
    Dealing with changes in priorities and escalating priority clashes.
    Ability to collaborate with customer productively and reliably.
    Ability to interact with staff members at all levels within the business.
    High attention to detail.
    Good understanding of an Engineering Office environment.
    Ability to modify SolidWorks models, assemblies and drawings.
    Ability to create technical drawings.
    Familiarisation with configuration management.

    Essential Criteria:

    2 years minimum experience in a design environment
    Design experience of products and assemblies.
    Solidworks experience or similar

    Desirable Criteria:

    Experience with 2 Dcad packages preferable
    Understanding of configuration management
    Change management configuration background, worked in areospace

    8.00am - 4:45pm Mon to Thur. 8,00am - 12:30pm Friday
