    An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Occupational Health Advisor to join our in-house Occupational Health, Welfare and Wellbeing Team. As part of the team you will work along-side other Occupational Health Advisors, Clinical Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Force Medical Advisor, Occupational Health Technician’s, Welfare Officers, Health and Wellbeing Coordinator and Administrators.
    The main focus of the role will be to provide Occupational Health services and advice to all within the Force relating to attendance management, disability issues and workplace adjustments, health surveillance and ensure compliance with statutory requirements along with supporting health and wellbeing initiatives.
    The applicant must be a Registered Nurse on part 1 of the NMC register and hold a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health. Two years post qualification experience is preferable along with experience of working within an Occupational Health environment in the Blue Light sector.
    The Occupational Health Advisor role is a hybrid role (40:60 home/on-site however, must be flexible if called in to work on-site) Part time – 22.2 hours per week (fixed days Wednesday to Friday) Fixed term contract for 12 months This opportunity is to cover Maternity/adoption leave The salary includes a market supplement which is reviewed annually (Salary based on 22.2 hours) Candidates must have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years to meet the vetting level required for the post
