    The Sr
    Specialist - Social Media Marketing will oversee organic social
    channels and be the voice of Wendy's UK across key digital platforms
    (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.). This role is responsible for the
    end-to-end management of our social presence, encompassing content strategy,
    trend spotting, creative execution, community engagement, and performance
    analysis, all while upholding the unique Wendy's brand personality and tone of
    voice.



    This
    role will ensure the brand visual standards, character, tone and imagery are
    upheld and maintained across all channels.  
    Responsibilities:Be on the pulse with social trends and cultural moments to generate organic social content that engages our audience and ensures Wendy’s UK relevance in online conversations.Layout the organic social calendar for each month (across all organic channels – particularly Instagram and TikTok) with the support of the International Social Media team. Devise creative ideas for engaging content and own the generation and execution of the content. Lead our social community management approach, determining how best to interact with our community in the right moments to drive maximum engagement. Leverage data-driven insights to inform future social content creation and community management strategies. Lead paid social marketing campaign management working directly with agency partners and external teams to develop and monitor full year-long calendar of activity.
    Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree is required; preference for Advertising, Communications, Marketing/PR.3+ years marketing experience, including an understanding and familiarity with all major social platforms. Demonstrated experience in social media, content creation & community management. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence others with the ability to contribute to new process development, and develop robust creative deliverable timelines.Experience working at or with a large consumer-facing brand.     Effectively
    utilises data from restaurant audits, sales reports and other sources of
    insight to align objectives with franchisees and achieve business goals. Builds
    actionable plans that are aligned with the franchisee and drive meaningful
    growth of the brand with the consumer in the marketplace.



    Ensures
    focus on Wendy’s brand reputation by influencing operational performance and
    overall customer satisfaction in all restaurants as assigned.  Enforces and executes
    brand protection policies and partners with franchisees to resolve issues.



    Works closely with Leadership to align on market
    priorities and allocate resources, where required, to develop markets.  Leads Business Review process with Leadership
    and franchised partners.
    What You'll Do
    Franchise Consultant
    / Trusted Advisor – Consults each individual franchise organization at a
    high level in a way that ensures we achieve our mutual goals.  A trusted advisor in areas such as business
    strategy, commercial performance and market development.  Crucially, converts this knowledge and
    relationship in to influence that supports overall business growth.

    Country Performance and Management – Identifies
    the individual requirements of each of their assigned franchisees, based on
    their specific circumstances and takes appropriate action.

    Partners with franchise organisations in strategic and
    country-level planning to drive market growth and performance, brand ranking
    and growth through excellent operations, marketing plans, new restaurants, and
    enhanced facilities. Is an expert on economic model and profit roadmaps of
    their country and consults to improve economic model yearly. Supports
    franchisee leaders and coaches on operational performance and measures

    New Market Launches –
    Partners closely with new franchise partners and Wendy’s support functions to
    plan and execute outstanding new market launches.  Identifies and remedies and potential
    barriers, and keeps leadership informed of any issues that require
    escalation.  Maintains a ‘high-care’
    approach post-opening that ensures moving to BAU as quickly as possible.

    Operational
    Excellence –Conduct restaurant evaluations with franchisee operators to
    assess performance on Wendy’s brand standards and then coaching to make
    improvements. Coach, teach and expect Franchise Head of operations to implement
    Wendy’s core operating systems to build a culture of operational pride and
    excellence.  Uses data effectively to triage
    and diagnose root cause of opportunity and ensure immediate corrective action

    Development/Restaurant
    Growth - Work closely with regional development team to define, activate
    and support plans for franchisees to grow, re-image and re-invest in their
    restaurants using Joint Capital Planning processes, development commitments and
    ongoing capital investments in their restaurants.What You'll Bring·      
    Bachelor’s
    degree in business or related field – preferred but not required. ·      
    Minimum
    5 years’ experience with increasing responsibility in operations management,
    including P&L management of multi-unit operations·      
    Ability
    to travel across the UK & Europe – this is a hybrid role with 70% travel ·
