The Recipe (About the Role) This is a technical specialist position where you'll have the exciting opportunity to develop and manage detailed, intricate product specifications for our recipes and packaging. You'll work with both our Branded and own-label customers, ensuring everything is current and accurate! Manage product specifications for Retailer Brands, addressing data queries via web-based customer portals. Translate internal specifications to meet Retailer requirements. Lead changes in product and packaging specifications. Maintain accurate internal specifications before transferring data to systems like D365. Ensure compliance with BRC and regulatory standards through collaboration with relevant teams. Advise Technical Managers on Retailer Brands specifications. Keep raw material specifications updated with the Supplier Technical Manager. Report packaging data to comply with waste regulations. The Ingredients (What we need from you) Key Know How: Food industry and FMCG experience. Specification writing in a food development and manufacturing environment. A good standard of knowledge of recipe and specification building. Nice to have: Previous experience working with various specification software systems for major retailers in the UK (for example Tesco, M therefore, we are seeking candidates who do not require sponsorship.
