Marketing and Engagement Lead We're looking for a driven, creative, and commercially minded Marketing and Engagement Lead to help shape how VWV connects with clients, builds its brand, and tells its story. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves leading teams, setting strategy, and bringing big ideas to life while still being close to the action. You'll play a key role in driving awareness of the VWV brand, engaging our audiences across multiple channels, and showcasing the depth of expertise that runs through our firm, working closely with the BD Lead and managers across the team. If you're someone who thrives on collaboration, has a knack for turning strategy into meaningful campaigns, and enjoys inspiring others to do their best work, this could be your next move. About The Role As Marketing and Engagement Lead, you'll set the strategy for VWV's marketing and engagement activity and then turn it into clear, measurable plans that deliver results. You'll lead a talented team, helping them grow into a high-performing group that's proactive, creative, and focused on impact. You'll develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns that elevate our brand and strengthen client relationships. That includes everything from shaping our annual plans and analysing performance, to overseeing content creation, managing campaigns, and ensuring every piece of activity drives real ROI. You'll also play a key role in evolving how VWV engages with clients, understanding their needs, improving the client journey, and using insight and data to inform future activity. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, so you'll work closely with teams across business development, digital, design, and communications to make sure our message is consistent and compelling. About You You'll be an experienced and confident marketing professional with a track record in leading teams and delivering strategic, results-driven campaigns. You'll know how to balance creativity with commercial thinking and how to use data and insight to make smart decisions that move the needle. You'll bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills, a passion for developing people, and an instinct for building engagement through great storytelling. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, guiding campaigns from concept to completion, and ensuring everything aligns with the firm's overall brand and goals. Experience in brand management, communications strategy, and campaign delivery is key, as is an ability to inspire others and create an environment where ideas thrive. You'll be hands-on when needed, but always with a clear eye on the bigger picture. A degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field would be ideal, but just as important is your experience, energy, and enthusiasm for what great marketing can achieve. This is a senior role that offers the chance to make a genuine impact shaping how VWV communicates, connects, and grows. You'll join a supportive, ambitious team where fresh ideas are encouraged, and where your work will help drive real results for the firm and our clients. If that sounds like the kind of challenge you're looking for, we'd love to hear from you. Education Associate Outstanding role for an education lawyer at a top-ranked practice! Here at VWV, we're looking for a bright and empathetic lawyer with strong experience in education law to join our nationally renowned team. About us  We're a Top 100, full-service UK law firm with around 630 employees. With 4 offices in Bristol, Birmingham, London and Watford, you'll be struck by our close-knit and friendly culture. We believe in integrity and authenticity - in each one of us being ourselves, both in our interactions with each other and with our clients. With a reputation not just for the quality of our work, but also for the qualities of our people, we strive to recruit individuals who are proactive and passionate about what they do and who are able to demonstrate humour and humility in equal measure. The Team Working within our regulatory risk and resolution team, you'll enjoy a variety of work for education, and on occasions, health and social care providers. Headed by Partner, , this team comprises 5 partners, 21 lawyers and 4 support colleagues. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a renowned team (we are Tier 1 for our practice in legal directories with a number of leading individuals in the field), and to enjoy a wide variety of work within a busy and dynamic sector. The Role As a team we undertake a wide range of contentious and non- contentious work for education providers. We cover the whole education ecosystem: early years, independent schools, academies, school groups and governing bodies, as well as further and higher education, special schools and online provision; and work for charities and health and social care providers. Many of our clients are nationally- and internationally-renowned providers and much of our work is driven by legal and political developments in our key sectors, which means that no two days are ever the same! Your caseload will likely include advising on admissions, exclusions and appeals, managing student behaviour and disciplinary issues, safeguarding, special educational needs and disability (SEND) and equality matters, handling complaints and claims (including court and tribunal work) and guiding schools through registration, inspection and regulatory compliance. This is a real opportunity to specialise in a fast-paced and evolving sector which will set you apart from many of your peers and enable you to advance your career at a pace that you dictate. About You Whilst we're open to hearing from a variety of lawyers with education experience, for this role we anticipate that you're most likely working at solicitor or associate level. Although our team focuses purely on work for the providers, we recognise that your expertise may differ, so we would still love to hear from you if to date you have only acted for individuals. We know that education work is niche and for this reason we don't expect you to have gained experience in all or even many of the elements listed within the Role. However, if you have some expertise of education work and an ability to communicate with clients in a clear, commercial yet empathetic manner, then we would welcome an application from you.  Perhaps you're with a national practice and feel overlooked; maybe you're in a small boutique firm and are looking for a firm with greater education law expertise- either way, here at VWV you'll enjoy being part of a team whose success is an integral part of the firm's. Where will I be working?  Whilst we work to a hybrid model, for this role we would like you to work from one of our offices for at least 2 days of the week. In this way, you'll benefit first-hand from our warm and friendly culture as well as facilitate cross referral opportunities from your colleagues in other teams. We are of course happy to discuss any specific requirements of hybrid working with candidates on an individual basis. Why choose us? There are so many reasons to stop and explore VWV further. Senior IT Security Analyst Keeping information safe is a big responsibility — and it's one we take seriously. We're looking for a Senior IT Security Analyst to join our team in Bristol and help protect the systems and data that our people and clients rely on every day. This is a hands-on role in a busy, supportive environment where security is part of everything we do, not an afterthought. You'll be trusted to use your experience, judgement and curiosity to help keep the firm secure and resilient as technology and threats continue to evolve. If you enjoy practical security work, problem-solving and working closely with others to make things better, this could be a great next step. About the Role You'll be involved in the day-to-day running of our information security controls, keeping a close eye on our networks, endpoints and cloud platforms. When alerts come in, you'll investigate what's going on, assess the risk, and take action to resolve issues or escalate them when needed. You'll work with a range of security tools — from endpoint protection and vulnerability management to email security and identity controls — and help make sure they're running effectively. Regular vulnerability scanning, patch coordination and keeping risk registers up to date will all be part of your role. You'll also help make sure we stay compliant with standards and regulations like GDPR, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus and SRA requirements. That means reviewing controls, updating policies, supporting audits and helping improve how we do things over time. Beyond the technical work, you'll support colleagues across IT and the wider business, contribute to security awareness campaigns and phishing simulations, and get involved in projects where security input is needed. There may be occasional out-of-hours work, particularly for planned activities or incident response. About You You have solid experience working in information security and a good all-round understanding of how to protect systems, networks and data in a real-world environment. You're comfortable working with security frameworks and putting them into practice, rather than just talking about them. You've got hands-on experience with tools like endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, email security controls and identity platforms, along with a good understanding of Windows environments, networking, Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune. You enjoy digging into alerts, understanding how threats work, and figuring out the best way to respond. You're organised, proactive and happy working independently, but also enjoy being part of a team and supporting others. You're able to explain security issues clearly and calmly, without unnecessary jargon, and you take pride in doing things properly. Most importantly, you're curious and keen to keep learning — staying up to date with new threats, technologies and ways of working, and helping improve security step by step. Where Will I Be Working?  At VWV we have a truly unique and engaging culture that we hold dear. We work hard but we also love to have fun and we recognise that it's the social interaction between us that really shapes our culture. With a reputation not just for the quality of our work, but also for the qualities of our people, we strive to recruit individuals who are proactive and passionate about what they do and able to demonstrate humour and humility in equal measure. The role Our private wealth offering is widely recognised by the Directories, with the Chambers HNW guide (2025) ranking lawyers in the team from every one of our office locations. Working as part of our Estates, Tax Planning and Trusts (ETT) team and reporting into our Tax and Trust Manager, , you'll be preparing trust accounts and personal/trust and estate tax returns, preparing them for review, and conducting peer reviews. You'll also handle the day-to-day trust matters for our clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts and estates. This will involve making sure engagement letters are set up, and that fees are agreed and invoiced correctly. You'll work closely with the wider ETT team to help manage client affairs, and pitch in with things like estate accounts, capital gains calculations, and inheritance tax computations. Given that tax and trusts work involves supporting the ongoing work within our wider private client department, you'll naturally find the role to be sociable and interactive. You'll have a love of team endeavour and enjoy working collaboratively with your colleagues across the offices, helping to provide our clients with the seamless "one stop shop" service for which, here at VWV, we're renowned. This role offers the opportunity for plenty of client interaction, so if you feel you're lacking that at the moment and would relish this in a new role, this could be the perfect fit for you. About you You could currently be working as a Tax and Trust Executive or in a similar role within a law firm or accountancy practice, and now you're looking for the next step in your career. Or, perhaps you've gained experience in accounts and tax returns and would like to take a slightly different direction in your work. Either way, if you bring a solid background in tax or trust administration and have a passion for delivering great service, we'd love to hear from you. Experience is important, but your enthusiasm, drive, and willingness to learn are what will truly set you apart. We anticipate the successful candidate will have completed, or be working towards, their AAT qualification with a real passion for qualifying in the future. We're committed to everyone's progression and development here at VWV, so we're open to supporting you with qualification if you think this is the right path for you. We recognise that each one of us is an individual. We're passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity. If you require any special adjustments to be made in order to be considered for this role, then please do call us (see contact details in the "How to Apply" section below), as we will be happy to do so. Whilst we operate a hybrid model of working, for this role we'd like you to work from our Birmingham office for at least 3 days of the week, with some flexibility to travel to our London office on an ad-hoc basis. In this way, you'll benefit first-hand from our warm and friendly culture as well as facilitate cross referral opportunities from your colleagues in other teams.
