Role Purpose
Reporting to LoB Pricing Team Leader, The Senior Commercial Manager is responsible for defining and shaping Commercial Pricing propositions for Vodafone’s IoT Solutions that will be offered to Vodafone Business customers.
The Commercial Manager is responsible for actively leading all commercial pricing activities in supporting Vodafone’s IoT Solutions from launch and throughout their lifecycle for Vodafone Business Channels / Customers.
The Commercial Manager will also provide guidance across complex, multi tower customer opportunities, securing best in class pricing/commercial terms for all IoT solutions and services. Collaborate with cross-functional bid team to ensure timely and successful delivery of the customer submission.
• Commercial Operations business partner responsible for leading the Commercial Pricing activities in the new product development and product launches for IoT solutions to Vodafone Business Customers
• Creation and ongoing maintenance of Commercial pricing frameworks, acting as Subject Matter Expert to the Pricing Operations and Velocity teams to drive the creation of Price books, P&L tools, governance documentation. Including:
o Supporting self-serve capability through Velocity / CPQ and other digital platforms enabling Sales Teams and Customers to generate standard solution price proposals in digital market places in near future
o Training Commercial Operations team how to price IoT solutions prior to launch
• Continuous improvement, standardisation and harmonisation of IoT solutions pricing processes, P&L tools, and templates within LoB Commercial Operations and with other key stakeholders to enable quicker launch of IoT solutions
• After the launch, participate in periodical product sales performance reviews with Product Managers to address product competitiveness issues / challenges throughout the product life cycles and implement corrective actions in order to maintain service / product competitiveness throughout the lifecycle of the products / solutions
• Commercial Operations business partner to Vodafone Business Sales Teams delivering pricing strategy and propositions fit for large complex / multi tower opportunities
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Group Product, Commercial Enablement, and lead EDRA governance activities to obtain approvals from Vodafone Business for commercially viable price proposals including floor pricing, competitive price positioning target selling price, channel discounts, volume based tier discounts, reseller fees, etc
What you’ll do
• Creation and delivery of commercial pricing frameworks / price books for IoT solutions to drive the creation of Price books, P&L tools and governance documentation.

What you’ll do
Reporting into the Partner Markets Customer Account Lead within the GTM & Commercial function, the Senior Customer Account Portfolio Manager will lead and own a significant part of our business within a Partner Market, customer or OpCo. They will own all engagements end-to-end from sales through to delivery including the P&L. They will also be accountable for delivering the growth, revenue and associated profitability targets.
Partner Markets and B2T (Business to Telco) is a strategic priority and growth area for VOIS over the next 12 – 24 months, with huge potential and opportunity to drive incremental revenue growth and penetrate new markets.
This role will involve owning C-Suite relationships for that portfolio/market, and various other relationships at the E and F band level. The successful candidate will spearhead market expansion, portfolio growth and service renewal/retention through a deep understanding of the customer’s priorities, growth agenda and supported by the CAL.
The Portfolio Lead will be responsible for bringing together teams from the VOIS service towers (service delivery functions) and working closely with the Partner Markets Account Managers within Vodafone Group to create a team delivering value for our customers, and for growing our business over the next 12-36 months. This role is central to our growth strategy, requiring a strategic and innovative mindset to lead transformation initiatives and deliver measurable value to our customers. Success in this position depends on a strong grasp of our service offerings and a deep understanding of customer challenges and priorities.

• Shape strategic narrative and ensure differentiated win strategies are delivered to the client, in alignment with expectations, needs, and market trends
Qualifications
• Demonstration of sustained client relations management experience at a C-suite level or key decision makers in the industry and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to critically assess the financial and strategic components of customer proposals and commercial deals
• Managed a portfolio of work across multiple customers previously
• Shown ability to grow and expand existing engagements and services within customer environment
• Proven ability to bring together disparate teams across multiple disciplines and levels of seniority to drive client success
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire cross-functional teams.

Carrier & B2B Clearing (CBC) is a Service Line within Finance Service VOIS acting as a global centre of excellence for Carrier and B2B clearing solutions covering high value non-standard products and services in the telecommunication space. It delivers E2E financial clearing solutions and services for business models incl. revenue billing (3rd party and intercompany) & collections, invoice verification, netting & payment, accounting & reporting at highest automation level.
FCH services also include solution embedded automated controls for SOX / Margin Assurance purposes.
CBC Strategy and Business Development is a key role for delivering the strategic vision and North Star of CBC as well as exploring growth opportunities and new revenue streams. This includes growing existing CBC products and services but also stepping into new territory.
The role will drive the strategic and operational design of products in our portfolio defining global standards for Group wide B2B clearing solutions across all markets.
As a key member of the management team, he/she will play an influencer role with senior stakeholders incl. SLT level in Finance, Networks, IT an VF Business. He/she will drive a risk-based roadmap of continuous improvements with highest quality and automation levels, underpinned by efficient processes and robust controls. This includes managing multiyear programmes with a variety of stakeholders. In this context the roadmap is also based on strong product ownership with E2E accountability for Design, Build and Run elements. This role therefore also includes product ownership for one of the major products in the CBC portfolio.
The role ensures effective relationship management with the relevant business/ commercial stakeholders as well as Technology and represents CBC for formal governance and escalation of issues and queries.
As part of Finance VOIS Service a pivotal element of the role is to drive the transformation of VOIS moving into a risk taking entity and commercialising our products and services both for wholly owned subsidiaries and a growing base of external customers, Partner Markets and other Telcos.
As a team the CBC organisation with currently approximately 135 FTE is operating across multiple locations such as Albania, Germany, Hungary, India, Luxembourg and UK and therefore may require international reporting lines with other team members/ groups.
