Collecting survey equipment and company van from the office.
Working ontrack possessions(primarily Monday Friday).
Ensuring high-quality data collection and adherence to safety standards.
Efficient reporting on the data collected.
Collaborating with project teams to deliver accurate survey outputs.
Essential:ValidCOSS & PTSqualifications.
Experience inSurveying for Rail Projects(topographical, gauging, or monitoring).
Ability to workshift patterns, including nights/weekends for possessions when required.
Strong understanding ofrailway safety protocols.
Full UK driving licence.
Competitive salary (£30K £40K)based on experience.

The RoleAs aSenior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of rail projects, ensuring cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and contractual compliance. Key Responsibilities:Lead cost planning, estimating, and value engineering for rail infrastructure projects.
Manage procurement processes, tendering, and contract administration (NEC & JCT forms).
Conduct cost reporting, forecasting, and change management.
Oversee subcontractor accounts, valuations, and final account agreements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and company procedures.
Provide commercial advice to project teams and stakeholders.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development initiatives.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the rail sector(or related infrastructure).
Strong knowledge ofNEC contracts(NEC3/NEC4 preferred).

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (RICS accreditation preferred).
