Job Summary As a Project Manager at VIRTUS, you will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from conception and planning through to implementation, delivery, and final sign-off. You will ensure that every project adheres to the VIRTUS PMO framework and meets its timeline, budget, and quality requirements. Your duties include day-to-day issue resolution, removing obstacles that block progress, and reporting regularly to the Project Director. You will also lead stakeholder communication (both internal and external), ensure successful handover to Operations, and continuously promote health, safety, and best practices. Key Duties and Responsibilities Act as the Project Manager for construction works across the portfolio of VIRTUS Data Centre projects. Works will include the following: • Lead and manage construction-related works for VIRTUS data centre projects, coordinating contractors, external teams, and internal site teams • Maintain rigorous Health & Safety oversight across all project sites • Define project scope, objectives, and briefs; limit scope creep and variation to control costs • Produce, maintain, and track project plans, programmes, and deliverables in collaboration with design teams and external consultants • Manage formal change requests via SNOW and secure approvals through the Change Advisory Board (CAB) before proceeding with works • Oversee commissioning and snagging processes; ensure all final testing and specialist sign-offs are completed before handover to the Operations Team • Prepare and present weekly status reports to the Project Director; escalate risks and delays using the prescribed escalation path • Manage project finances in line with the approved business case; source, review, and approve quotes; raise purchase requisitions as needed • Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders (design, construction, customer, operations) throughout the lifecycle • Ensure final handover is thorough, that operational readiness is met, and that any ongoing defects or items are closed out efficiently • Support additional works at other sites when requiredPerson Specification Previous experience working within Data Centre’s and delivery of successful projects is essential. The successful applicant will also have substantial Project Management experience and a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.     Job SummaryThe Senior Procurement Manager assumes full procurement responsibility for significant new builds and in-life projects in line with the company’s processes and procedures.
