They are seeking a DV‑cleared Platform Engineer to join their expert engineering team. Platform Operations & Support
Diagnose and resolve issues across both production and non-production virtualised environments, ensuring robust system uptime and performance.Client Collaboration
Work directly with programme teams and clients to deliver operational value, provide technical support, and cultivate strong relationships.Infrastructure Automation
Automate deployments and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar, from ground-up to streamline infrastructure provisioning and updates.Kubernetes & Cloud Platform Management
Build, operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ESXi hypervisors, and hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Manage Linux and Windows servers via IaC and containerization technologies.Security & Compliance Engineering
Implement secure architecture and platform hardening aligned with defence-grade standards, supporting identity, access control, encryption, and system resilience.Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Setup and maintain monitoring solutions (e.g. ELK, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus), troubleshoot performance, and deliver root cause analysis and remediation.
What We’re Looking For
DV Clearance: Active Developed Vetting clearance is essential.Systems Engineering Experience: 2nd/3rd line infrastructure support in secure or defence/ government contexts. Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.Automation & IaC: Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, scripting automation across hybrid platforms.Cloud, Container & Virtualisation Tech: Proven work with Kubernetes, Docker, VMware/ESXi; comfortable working with AWS, Azure, and hybrid topologies.DevOps Mindset: Competent in platform-as-a-service deployments, continuous integration, versioning and orchestration across environments.Communication & Collaboration: Able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, offering clear guidance in high-security settings.Problem-Solving Orientation: Strong analytical aptitude for diagnosing complex system failures and proposing innovative remediation strategies.Palantir Foundry experience is an added bonus!
