    up to £45,000VIQU have partnered with a large education organisation seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their Data Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role focuses on building and delivering high-quality Power BI dashboards, datasets, and insights using Microsoft data technologies, including Power BI and Fabric. You will work independently, engage stakeholders, and deliver clear, accurate reporting at pace in a highly visible role.Key Responsibilities of the Data Analyst:
    • Ownership of end-to-end Power BI dashboard development, delivery, and maintenance.
    • Build, develop, and optimise datasets using Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and SQL.
    • Co-design performance and activity reports with stakeholders, providing clear analysis and commentary.
    • Engage senior stakeholders to translate strategic and operational needs into reporting solutions.
    • Promote data literacy through training, guidance, and responsive user support.
    • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and data queries across the organisation.
    • Ensure robust data governance, access control, and quality assurance across all reporting outputs.
    • Contribute to automation and efficiency improvements through effective use of organisation-wide data.Key Requirements:
    • Proven experience delivering end-to-end reporting solutions as a Data Analyst.
    • Advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, data modelling, and Power Query.
    • Strong Excel skills with basic SQL knowledge.
    • Industry experience within a multi-academy trust, or similar public sector environment.
    • Confidence presenting complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
    • Strong understanding of data governance, secure reporting, and access control.
    • Self-starter with a delivery mindset and ability to manage competing priorities.
