    A unique and very exciting opportunity has arisen for an SFS experienced Detailer / Project Designer to undertake the position of Technical Project Lead within my Clients business.  This role is ideal for an individual with Tekla expertise however, my Client is also able to consider applicants of a Revit background who would be open to moving to more of a Tekla focussed role.   My Client can offer support and Tekla training for the right individual if required as all projects are delivered in Tekla.  SFS based experience is essential to the role.
    Overview of the Role: Advanced Tekla Modelling and Development: Hands on modelling of complex details whilst developing templates and automation macro's to streamline outputTechnical Oversight and Review: Auditing internal and external drawings to ensure compliance with structural intent and quality standardsManage external and offshore Detailing Teams to ensure detailing standards are maintained at all timesManage Client and Customer feedback and convert structural engineering concepts into practical and buildable site detailsCollaborate with the Sales Team to resolve technical issues early on and mitigate downstream project risks. Project Coordination and Order Processing About You: Applicants will have gained knowledge and experience of the SFS Sector  with a background of working as a Tekla Or Revit Detailer / Project Designer with ideally loadbearing and/or infill based project knowledge.   

    This role will require you to adapt to undertaking a number of duties and responsibilities in addition to utilising your detailing knowledge and expertise.  You must be technically knowledgeable but also be a customer focussed individual with great communication skills and abilities.  An individual who can utilise their understanding of projects to the best of their abilities to keep projects moving in a positive direction and in a streamlined fashion.

    Permanent Position A leading and well-established residential groundworks contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple new-build housing developments across the Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the regions most respected groundworks contractors, with a strong pipeline of secured work and long-standing relationships with major housebuilders. The company operates from offices in Worcestershire, Leicestershire and Gloucestershire and delivers high-volume residential groundworks packages including roads, sewers, drainage and plot works. This is a senior operational role suited to a proven Contracts Manager with a strong background working for a recognised residential groundworks contractor. The Role The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple residential groundworks projects, managing site teams and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget. You will take full operational responsibility for a portfolio of sites and play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with housebuilders and clients. Typical responsibilities will include: Managing multiple residential groundworks sites across the Midlands
    Overseeing Site Managers, Engineers and Supervisors
    Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
    Monitoring programme performance and driving productivity
    Managing labour and plant resources across sites
    Working closely with commercial teams on cost control and variations
    Supporting project planning and mobilisation
    Attending client and progress meetings
    Maintaining strong relationships with national and regional housebuilders
    Ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved
    Resolving operational issues and supporting site teams
    Supporting the growth and development of operational staff Requirements (Essential) This role requires a strong residential groundworks background. Applications without this experience will not be considered. Candidates must have: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager
    Strong background in residential groundworks for new-build housing
    Experience working for an established residential groundworks contractor
    Track record delivering multiple housing developments simultaneously
    Strong operational and organisational skills
    Experience managing Site Managers and Engineers
    Excellent client-facing skills
    Strong knowledge of roads, sewers, drainage and plot works
    Ability to manage multiple live projects Desirable Experience Experience working with national housebuilders
    Engineering or construction-related background
    SMSTS / CSCS / First Aid
    Strong commercial awareness
