    Are you looking to join a fun, forward thinking practice team, 10 minutes' walk from the sea, then look no further!Companion Care Eastbourne are seeking an ambitious veterinary surgeon looking to utilise and expand their skills and knowledge, you would be joining a highly experienced team of 5 ½ vets, nursing team of 12 and a client care team of 7, this role would suit an experienced vet with a minimum of 2 years’ experience who has great consulting ability and solid surgical competency for routine surgeries.  We see an array of very interesting cases and are able to offer advanced services including cardiology, behaviour, keyhole surgery and dentistry. We also like to invest in our team and encourage continual development in areas of special interest.  We are a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery purpose built to industry leading standards with separate cat and dog ends, allowing for separate kennels, theatres, prep and waiting areas to reduce stress to our patients. We like to keep up to date with all of the latest equipment which currently includes, ultrasound, digital radiographs, including dental radiography, an endoscope and laparoscope, in house lab, laser and acupuncture. You will be confident with routine surgery, dentals and patient consultations, with at least 3/4 years experience, enjoy building strong relationships with patients and clients and you will take pride in providing an excellent service.     Voted Vets4Pets new practice of the year 2019, we at Nuneaton are proud to be a multiple award-winning GP standard practice under the Practice Standard Scheme as well as RCVS accredited, Silver accredited cat friendly status and RWAF accredited. Growing all the time and seeing a variety of interesting surgical and medical cases you’ll be joining practice owners Melissa who has 13+ years’ experience, is a qualified Vet GDP advisor with an interest in every aspect of veterinary medicine, in particular soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine and Lucy (RVN) who has 22+ years’ experience with an interest in preventative care and anaesthesia.  Melissa and Lucy are also supported by Vicky our Practice Manager, she is one of our onsite Mental Health First Aiders, as well as another great vet and a great team of nurses, one veterinary care assistant and three client care advisors. Ideally this is a full-time position with shift patterns of 9am-5pm and 11am-7pm, with 1 in 3 Saturday’s 9am-5pm but please still get in touch if you’re looking for something a bit more flexible, as we’re open to discussing alternatives. We allow 20-minutes for our vet consults with the last appointment at 6.30pm to make sure we leave on time at the end of the day.
