Service - Global Service Supply Chain - One Tool Technical Support
One Tool Unit is a new business unit in Vestas in charge of optimizing and standardizing Vestas's management of a broad variety of tools for internal customers across the entire value chain of Vestas construction & service operations. The newly appointed Technical Support Engineer will be reporting to the Technical Support Manager in the One Tool Strategy team.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to support the launching of new projects, new tooling solutions, and support the regional warehouse through the Feedback Loop as SME for Construction and Maintenance tools. You will be working closely with the One Tool Unit internal customers and shall act on behalf of Tools providing timely and optimized solutions meant to fulfil the customer's needs and requirements. You will be the go-to person related to Construction& Maintenance Tools.
In this role, your main tasks will be:
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around Tools and the warehouse maintenance activities. Ensure stakeholder alignment when comes to the right tool for the job. Support the warehouse in finding the correct tool for the job and assisting with the toolkit. Provide feedback to the Strategy Office Specialist whenever tools must be improved or corrected. Maintain good liaison with Operations, Warehouse, Excellence team, VPS Modules, and Configuration Lead. Trigger Close loop quality by creating problem reports and feedbacking VPS. Be a gatekeeper of Cross Functional Review and act on behalf of operations and warehouses.
Qualifications
You hold an engineering degree in mechanics, electrics, or similar education. Combined with your educational background, you have at least +8 years of experience in the field of engineering. Experience in the wind turbine industry. Relevant experience in construction & service of turbines is a surplus. Knowledge of tooling and equipment development and commissioning. Experience in systematic problem-solving methodologies and Root Cause Analysis. Knowledge of Vestas' ECM is beneficial.
Competencies
Knowledge of onshore and offshore construction activities including relevant standards. Effective management skills able to facilitate a cooperative environment. Collaborative and structured approach advocating as the "voice of the customer" demanding the highest quality expectations from the organization. Good stakeholder management, as you will enjoy working with a range of people across various international locations, backgrounds, cultures, and seniority. Focus on safety is a must in this position. Good communication skills in English.

The Contract Management department plays a critical role in the execution of offshore windfarms within the Northern & Central Europe (NCE) region of Vestas. The department is responsible for ensuring the effective management of contractual issues via professional and focused contract management.
As a Service Contract Manager, your main responsibilities are undertaken prior to and during the service phase of offshore windfarms where you will support by providing advice and recommendations in relation to contractual and commercial issues affecting the delivery of operations & maintenance (O&M) services. You will be responsible for providing contract management support, clarifying contractual obligations and compliance thereto while ensuring the company's commercial interests are adequately always safeguarded.
Responsibilities
Support the Service team (Customer Manager/Service Manager) and work closely with the Vestas Legal & Compliance department Interpret, provide summaries and advise the Service team about the content and interpretation of the contract in terms of scope, obligations, rights, and remedies Draft routine notices, submissions, and communications to be submitted in accordance with the contract term and in coordination with the Service team Supervise an overview of defect claims, and coordinate evaluation and resolution of such claims with other departments Review incoming communications from the customer/contractors and draft responses thereto Support the negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements with customers to optimize the resolution of disputes under the relevant agreements
Qualifications
Contract and claims management experience, in particular with in-depth knowledge of cost and warranty claims Significant experience in construction or energy industry - wind or heavy construction industry experience appreciated Professional usage and execution of the standard forms of contract in construction and energy industries (ideally FIDIC based contracts) Law degree is appreciated
Competencies
Commercial / contractual awareness and acumen, and solid negotiation and communication skills Attention to detail and significant organization skills Determined individual, proficient in managing their own responsibilities with minimal support Achievement in collaborating with a global, geographically diverse team Accurate and pragmatic approach to contract management and enforcement Positive attitude and genuine interest in process improvements Fluent in written and spoken English in business and legal environments. Responsibilities

Account management of customers that range from large-scale complex utilities to independent developers and infrastructure investment funds Focus on contractual application and commercial excellence • Secure and maintain world class customer relationships, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and loyalty Handle the customer relationship effectively, using the knowledge and network at Vestas ensuring best-in-class customer management Be the customer's primary contact for commercial and contractual issues in Vestas Resolving disputes and maintaining an exemplary level of service Ensure contracts are performing financially to budget, handling commercial and financial risk.
