    Verus Recruitment is proud to partner with a market-leading manufacturer operating from a state-of-the-art 300,000 sq. ft. facility in Rotherham. Supplying OEMs across defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling, and rail, this company offers full in-house capabilities including laser cutting, CNC machining, fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly.

    We’re looking for a resilient and driven Quality Engineer to join the team and play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards. Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you’ll lead quality initiatives, manage non-conformance systems, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

    What You’ll Do: Review and approve ISIR and FAIR documentation Act as the go-to contact for internal quality issues Investigate non-conformance, implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) Prepare and submit PPAP documentation Support inspections when needed Approve concessions before customer submission Conduct regular audits and lead 8D investigations Develop process controls and generate SCARs About You: We’re looking for someone who brings:
    Recent experience in a similar Quality role within metal fabrication or engineering Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and core tools Precision in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents Highly motivated, proactive, and team-oriented with a results-driven mindset A flexible approach to adapt to changing and challenging requirements Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to generate innovative ideas Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage at all levels A consistent focus on quality and the ability to champion its importance across the business What’s in it for You?
