About the role The purpose of the Data Integrity Auditor within our data insight team is to uphold the highest standards of data accuracy, reliability, and compliance in our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring that all data submitted for compliance purposes is thoroughly validated and verified, maintaining the integrity of our reporting processes. The Data Integrity Auditor is dedicated to conducting thorough sign offs, identifying discrepancies, and implementing improvements to our data management practices, thereby supporting our commitment to regulatory compliance and enhancing the overall quality of our EPR compliance reports. Key Accountabilities: Data Validation and Verification Conduct thorough sign offs to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Verify data against regulatory standards and internal policies. Identify and correct data discrepancies and errors. Implement validation protocols to maintain data quality. Verify data consistency between reports and source systems Data Quality Assessment Assess data for accuracy, completeness, and reliability. Identify patterns or trends indicating potential data issues. Recommend improvements based on quality assessments. Track and report on data quality metrics. Implement risk management plans. Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts. Process Improvement Recommendations Identify inefficiencies in current data management processes. Develop and propose process improvements. Implement changes to enhance data quality and compliance. Monitor the impact of process changes Cross-Functional Collaboration Conduct training sessions for the data management team. Offer ongoing support and guidance to team members. Work with IT and operations to ensure data integrity Share audit findings and recommendations with other departments Regulatory Updates Stay informed about changes in EPR regulations. Ensure ongoing adherence to current regulations. What we need from you Proven experience in data management, quality control, or a related field Previous experience conducting sign offs preferable Strong knowledge of packaging and waste regulations in different jurisdictions Experience in creating and reviewing compliance reports. Industry specific knowledge relevant to the organisation's EPR compliance. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy in data validation. Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., EPIC, Excel) preferable Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills. About the role Valpaks Environmental Compliance Management (ECM) team assist companies with compliance with international environmental legislation and work closely with our partner companies across Europe to fulfil this service. The International Account Advisor plays a key role in the service offering of Valpaks ECM services. The role involves undertaking research into the requirements of environmental compliance legislation overseas, confirming companies obligations and assisting with their compliance. The International Account Advisor manages the accounts and is responsible for ensuring customers compliance outside of the UK; this includes activities such as liaising with overseas compliance schemes, advising on forecasts and invoices, manipulating, checking and submitting data. About the role The Account Manager role is dual-focused, with some aspects requiring a strongly customer-focused outlook and excellent communication skills. About the role The Supplier Engagement Advisor (SEA) will liaise with suppliers, assisting them with their data submissions relating to our clients obligations under the Packaging, WEEE, Batteries and Plastic Tax regulations, alongside additional data requirements with the commencement of EPR. The SEA will work alongside Data Administrators, Account Managers and Data Team Managers to effectively communicate requirements for obligations calculations for a range of accounts. The SEA will support with suppliers of Data Insights customers to collect information by email, telephone, and live chat, as well as present webinars and proactively engage with the members supplier base. They will also interact with other departments within Valpak, as well as external organisations, and will therefore need excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
