p strong Role Overview /strong /p p We are seeking an experienced strong Project Manager /strong to lead the end-to-end implementation of business and technology initiatives within the Energy Utilities sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complex implementation programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful deployment of energy solutions across business and IT functions. /p p The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project delivery, implementation management, and energy industry processes such as retail energy, electricity, gas, smart metering, market-wide programmes, or energy trading. /p p br /p p strong Key Responsibilities /strong /p ul li Lead end-to-end implementation projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare. /li li Develop project plans, governance, RAID logs, budgets, and delivery roadmaps. /li li Coordinate business, technical, vendor, and third-party teams to ensure successful project execution. /li li Manage implementation activities including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and transition to support. /li li Ensure project delivery within agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards. /li li Drive stakeholder engagement across business, IT, operations, and external partners. /li li Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans. /li li Oversee SIT, UAT, dress rehearsals, cutover planning, and production deployments. /li li Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular executive reporting. /li li Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements within the energy sector. /li li Support change management, business readiness, training, and adoption activities. /li li Work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, QA teams, and Operations. /li /ul p br /p p strong Experience /strong /p ul li 8+ years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise technology implementations. /li li Strong experience within the strong Energy Utilities /strong industry. /li li Proven delivery of large-scale implementation or transformation programmes. /li li Experience managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional delivery teams. /li li Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. /li li Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies. /li li Experience with project governance, financial management, RAID management, and reporting. /li li Strong knowledge of the implementation lifecycle including planning, testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare. /li li Experience working with third-party vendors and system integrators. /li /ul p br /p
